It's a long season, and Richmond have to make the top 4 yet. They actually travel a bit this year (and also have a couple of tough weeks coming up against Melb/WB). Sure, we expect them to win games and put the undefeated teams back in their place, but if not they will be in a precarious position.Its looking like another season where Richmond will power through the finals, I just hope we're at the pointy end too, I think we're the only team that can beat them. The dogs might look good now but they will falter against the tigers next week and if they meet at any time in September imo. They have a good midfield, but you need more than a good midfield to beat them, you need a decent defence and attack too.
Even for Richmond, winning from outside the top 4 would be hard.
WC have a huge role to play as well. Constantly falling over ourselves to finish 5th has cost us. If we can push into the top 4, with Port, Sydney, WB and Melb also fighting for the other 3 spots it becomes a logjam.
