How you lose matters.

Pretty disappointed that we hung up our boots in q4.
I've been big on how even though we've hit the front in the last 10 games - we haven't put the cue in the rack...

Tonight was about 3 steps backwards... The boys need to have a good hard look at themselves... Maybe JLO shows some spine and makes them clean up the powerade mess in the Brisbane change rooms...

I said this a couple of weeks ago (I think after the win against the Saints) Jlo isn't ruthless enough

Midfield completely embarrassed themselves and showed no repesct to the lions players. Not any bother to track their runs and keep some body on them in the spread, despite being thoroughly out worked all night at the contest anyway! Impressively they were even more shocking when the ball did go their way on transition. Complete butchery i50 which I’d thought we’d gotten past. Jackson was seeisoily crap and brayshaw has been below par for weeks with none of his usual trademark defensive efforts either. NOD is a ghost and as much a squib as Sharp, get him out asap goddamn.

The opportunités were there for us to close the gap most of the night but we were completely usuels in front of goal, handballs when shots are open, kicking to a 1on3 contest or over our forwards heads. Completely unacceptable and downright disheartening. Treacy with an absolute coach killer I couldn’t believe it, but he’s been poor for weeks now on transition. Strong mark but often is running himself into trouble, giving a crap handball or fumbling it in transition.

how are we any chance of handling the occasion next week if this is what we dish up for Fyfe? We have to hold ourselves to higher standards if we want to have any success, an unacceptable performance frankly. We have one chance to redeem ourselves now.

You must be pretty bored with your life to start trolling a Fremantle post game thread after a game.

Like honestly says more about you then where our club is at.
Especially on a Friday night?

The conversations at work on Mondays must be thrilling?
"So what'd you do this weekend?"
"Well Friday night was wild! Logged on to a Fremantle board and told their fans how crap their club is and how no one cares about their club"
"Oh? But I thought you went for Carlton?"
"I do... so then I..."
"So you told them that nobody cares about their club... but you chose to log in and spend your Friday night by telling them NO ONE cares about their club?"
"Yeah! and then I..."

... Then again - I could be totally wrong and they could be a 10 year old who has had their Youtube account access taken away

If Fremantle had of kicked an average conversion we probably would have been within 2 goals going into the last and maybe a different outcome.

Doesn’t discount the fact that the occasion was in their heads before the bounce.

Created so much pressure on themselves , there was no way we could hold up the dam wall while the forwards and midfield worked out a way to convert.

Even some of the backs put pressure on themselves and the occasion got in their heads.

The season history says don’t write us off. But club history says yeh … you probably can.

Going to be interesting to see what we do next week.

5 goals and 14 behinds isn't bad compared to other dockers games I have seen since following this side since 2001.

I was there in round 15 in 2009 vs the crows in footy park. 1.7.13 we scored.

Also... Late 2019. We scored 2 goals and 19 behinds. Half of them were rushed. Thank you Cam McCarthy and Michael Walters for your set shot goals

So much about our strategy I don’t understand, primarily the timid way we exit from D50. First Q, Pearce has the ball, Worner absolutely clear runs past for the handball, further up the ground Freddy is out the back in clear air top of the 50, we have the opportunity to take territory, run through the zone & kick long for Freddy to run onto.
Instead Pearce holds the ball and they get settled & he kicks it straight back to them.

So many other crap plays, Banfield, Erasmus, Worner, Wagner just missing simple kicks to a target.

Meanwhile Lions broke fast from stoppage, used the corridor from kick ins and had space inside their 50.
Outclassed, out coached, but the biggest indictment - outworked when we had everything on the line.

There were bad signs last week but tonight we came to a halt. Bulldogs spank us next week and it’s over and out yet again.

This club breaks your heart every year.
