The missing ingredient from 2015 was clearly hungry jacks. Footy gods would not allow us to win a flag without them :hamburger:

HJ's owner agrees with you, Mike.

Billionaire rich lister Jack Cowin reckons his fast-food franchise Hungry Jack's is a "good luck charm" for the West Coast Eagles.

Hungry Jack's has been an on-off sponsor of the Eagles since the AFL club's inception in 1986. It has been there for its premiership wins but was not a sponsor in 2015, when the Eagles suffered a bruising grand final defeat to Hawthorn.

"When they won in '92, '94, '06, each year we have been a major sponsor. We are the good luck charm," Mr Cowin told The Australian Financial Review. Mr Cowin will be at Saturday's grand final, when the Eagles take on Collingwood.

Last two MCG trips against the Tigers we wore yellow. From memory there were complaints our royal blue was too similar to the Tigers home guernsey the game prior at the G.
Fair enough. But when the Demons can wear navy for a prelim against us, surely black is less of a clash.

We would’ve worn royal with white shorts I reckon. Clash jumper being worn during the season in games where’s there’s a minimal clash is purely for exposure and potential sales. If Richmond can play over here against our full royal in black with white shorts, there’s no reason we wouldn’t do the opposite for a GF.

We wore it once against them in 2017 and my suspicion is that the club chose to wear it after we just brought in peril in that off season.
