1st Essendon - My dad barracks for them and so does my best mate.
2nd Collingwood - Always good to knock them off their high horse.
3rd Richmond - In the time that i've been alive, they haven't been awfully good at any stage.

1.Collingwood
2.Essendon

Richmond?

Who gives a toss about Richmond they havent done a thing in over 25 years. Wouldnt even say we have a rivalry with them. I hate the Saints more then Richmond and will be more satisfied in beating them in 09.:thumbsu:

Totally agree with this.

I still begrudge Richmond seizing our potential star David Honybun! :D

He wasnt getting a game with Madden coming through any way.

Was he the last trade / swap with Richmond? Probably Murphy / Harrison swap in 1995 was probably the most recent come to think of it.

Didnt they pick up Tim Fleming too?

Now:

Essendon
Collingwood
St Kilda
Richmond

Over the next season or 2 we will finally overcome our St Kilda hoodoo and return to our former dominance over them, and we will continue to develop further dominance over Collingwood, which will take a lot of the sting out of these games.

Richmond on the other hand should be on the up as well and could prove to be a more satisfying win than St Kilda and Collingwood, but will still not come close to Essendon for mine.

yep, and Chris Bond, Ian Herman and i think Simon Fletcher.

Oh yeah.....
currently its Essendon, Collingwood, Richmond in that order for me.

In 2009 I would get the most enjoyment out of beating Geelong and Hawthorn!!!!!

yea i agree with u
however seen as thats not likely i still choose collingwood or essendon
preferably both actually:D

Despise Essendon
Hate Collingwood

Like Richmond

Carlton and Richmond had a great rivalry thru the 70's but then Richmond dropped off the end of the pier for 25 years.
Maybe the rivalry will pick up again for the next 10 years. I hope so.

Right now i think the only Richmond/Carlton rivalry exists in the heads of Walls and Sheedy.

The Filth -Mum & me brother go for them. Still remember getting grounded after the 1982 Grand Final......but it was well worth it....:thumbsu::)
