We won last week purely on effort, and defensive work rate. That was missing tonight.

Needed our best players to play well, they didn't and that exposed all the guys that aren't up to it. There's a few. Bottom line is we have too many out at this point in time.

Not up to it - TBC, Zaka, Gleeson, Cahill, Townsend, Cutler. Stewart first game in 2 years so I'll cut him a bit of slack but it'll be a miracle if he doesn't join that list.

Add Heppell, McKenna, Daniher, Stringer, Fantasia, Hooker/Ambrose and the difference would be telling but these guys are getting injured in shortened games in a shortened season so what hope do we have in the real thing.

Too small, too skinny, too slow.

why would Worsfold care.....he is not coaching....he’s leaving anyway.....and it’s all about the learnings and whatever other bullshit this club continues to spin to us.....

Sides have gone past us. Feels like a long time I've been saying it: The club is rotten.

The players are no good. The coaches are no good. The "high performance" and medical teams are no good. Our recruiting is no good and the development is no good. The board that oversees all this is no good and the commercial arm of the organisation is no good. Sections of the supporters, they're no good.

I just hope we can turn it around over the next 6 days.

Can’t forget we have close to half our best team missing, it makes a difference.

But.....can someone explain to me the point of picking a bunch of short people and then playing slow, down the line footy??? Like...how is that ever going to work? The lack of correlation between team selection and playing style is bewildering right now.

Always good to remember that.

I don’t think it’s by design. It’s indicative of how cooked we looked. They blocked the corridor. Bellchambers can’t play as a forward. Dare I say we missed Mckernan.
