Dawson must have some demons from that fateful day against Rocca, surely he has to show character and ask to stand him? He would probably like his chances, Roccas maybe on the decline, hes perseved to be on the improve, hopefully its all Pebs needs to find form!

If i was Ross Lyon the first match-up i would have planned was Zac vs Rocca

Dawson is out to prove to the footy world how far he has come in the 3-4 years since that day, and to be fair to him he has improved immensly

So come Monday night there will be no surprises when Dawson goes to Rocca, and when Rocca kicks 5 on him and when Collingwood win haha.

That would be great to see. We'd get to see if Dawson has actually improved and whether Pebbles can still play good footy. Hopefully he kicks a bag on him if they do play on eachother.

If i was Ross Lyon the first match-up i would have planned was Zac vs Rocca

Dawson is out to prove to the footy world how far he has come in the 3-4 years since that day, and to be fair to him he has improved immensly

If Lyon had half a brain, which I suspect he does, he'd realise that footy is about winning games, not proving points. He'd give Rocca the best match-up he can think of, whether or not that match-up happens to be Zac Dawson should be irrelevant to a senior AFL coach.

Sometimes I do wonder how AFL coaches do get their jobs, perhaps one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen was moving Fraser Gherig onto Barry Hall in that prelim a few years back. Some coaches can be so stupid.

I hope it happens, saw Dawson play on the weekend, and he hasnt improved. He turned the ball over by foot repeatedly, and looked ok defensively but he was playing on small forwards all day.

It's just what Big Ant needs to reinvigorate his last year or so, a big game against a dud like Dawson, who has never been, and will never be a league class defender.

Rocca Kicked 8 and made Dawson his own little whipping boy. Clarkson was criticized heavily for playing a young stickboy on Rocca for the whole match
