An insipid effort after quarter time. We are a long way off what we were last year, nothing is clicking and when we do look like we are finally turning a corner we wrap the ball with a bow and hand it to the opposition in the goal square and let them kick away.

Hard to see how we can turn the ship around, at the moment everyone just looks out of sync and we look less like a team and more like 18 individuals on the ground.

The club needs to focus on either trading in/acquiring through free agency another quality midfielder. Newcombe can't do it on his own and Day is unfortunately made of glass.

Every contested ball, 4 Collingwood players, 1 Hawthorn player.
Our super coach needs to make a statement or two at selection next week.
Drop 4 or 5 players who cares, we could be out of the 8 very soon anyway.
I’m not that surprised by this result, something is not right with this team.
