Old mate had Smith in ahead of Hep and Zach, he was no where near it today.
At 3 qtr time, North was in a winning position. They had kicked the last couple of goals of the third Dons looked to have run out of legs, particularly Merrett and Stringer.

Smiths gut running, chasing and 2nd, 3rd and 4th efforts all throughout the game was outstanding. Particularly against Higgins who threatened in the 4th quarter, as he did the previous week when North got up over Dogs.

If you look at the stats, you will say Smith only had 15 possessions and 7 tackles. The metres that he ran to chase guys (particularly Norths usual match winners) and put them under pressure is not measured. This guy is all heart.

This is why I gave him votes. And I could have included 6-7 others (Merrett, Fantasia, Heppell, Walla, Langford, Myers +++).

Myers has a seriously good game: 25d, 10 contested, 96% efficiency, 2 goals, 2 assist, 477 meters gained, 5 clearances, 4 tackles.
Can he do this every week please?

Bellcho deserves votes, as does Langford and Saad, as does Smith, etc.
