Lloyd's not wrong, he just hates what his club has become and you could hardly blame him.

* that club. by far the worst in the afl.

the drug cheating on its own its terrible. but the worst thing about it was the delusional cult like hero worship of james hird. * them. they are a joke club. when was their last finals win again? 15 years ago? they deserve the absolute worst and i would love to see them fold.

Whether Essendon is the worst club in the AFL depends entirely on whether you define the Adelaide Football Corporation as a club or not. If we're talking actual clubs, then yes you are correct.

Matthew Lloyd wishes Damien Hardwick was still around to rough up Orazio.

Did they have any plans for Hardwick in this era?

Matthew Lloyd wishes that a player that left Essendon to go to Port was still around to rough up another player that left Essendon to go to Port?

Maybe Gavin Wanganeen could help him out.

As 70sDinosaur pointed out above, if Dimma was "still around" he'd be Orazio's teammate at Port.

What version of Essendon is going to turn up?

Against Hawthorn they fell apart inside and outside of the contest in the third quarter resulting in Hawthorn generating scoring opportunities from very good positions (which they converted 8.0 and no really fluke goals). Hawthorn are not renowned for being a strong contested and clearance side, unlike Port who were in the top 2 teams for contested possessions in 2020 and really focus on it. If Port bring the contest early, unlike the North game, we could get in the minds of the Bombers players and set up a very uncomfortable final 3 quarters.

Depending on your personal parameters (ie, they last won a final in Week 1 2004) this mob are roughly halfway through a ‘Richmond: The Lost Years’ era, yet don’t seem to attract anywhere near the reputational ignominy that celebrated flustercuck did.

Port by heaps, hopefully.

Halfway?

Optimistic.

By the looks of us I'd say we've got another 30 years of this s**t in front of us.

I'm hoping it plays out like that Friday night game against Carlton a few years ago, when they finished close to our quarter time score, and we won by triple figures.
