Their midfield is pedestrian though. We will really need to defend as a team next week... Geelong look good with 2 very good talls

The only bit of Geelong midfield that wins the ball is Selwood's head.Their midfield is pedestrian though.
Won't happen. Nothing to do with being a fan or sentiment. It's the 25 disposals, 9 marks, 5 inside 50's and 2 goal assists that is compelling.
Barlow would be prone to errors under fatigue especially given he has had an interrupted preseason. It's better for him to sharpen up in the team rather than not. He'll be better for the run and another week on the track.

Geelong: Out - Steve Johnson - Suspended.
Fremantle: In - 4 points and odds for 2015 premiership.

I agree with RTB rating Mayney. Clancee is lock for mine. So if Mayne gets up:Heard that Barlow couldn't walk after the game. Hopefully just cramp, but he'll be sore.
INS: Mzungu and Tabs
OUTS: Suban, Mayne (if ankle injury)
If Mayne gets up, it's hard to pick who makes way for tabs. I'm guessing it would be out of c. Pearce, de boer or Sheridan, but I quite liked a few aspects of their game. And none of them are forwards for a straight swap with tabs.
Maybe it has to be Mayne, injured or not, but I think RTB rates Mayne too highly.
He's a definite out. The guy has a long history of concussion and they won't let him play. What's the concussion rule these days? Bartel might be missing also.
That handball in the last out to Fyfe which led to Pav's goal was epic. Dived at the feet of two Port players, pinched the ball and shot out the hand pass in one motion. Was a big moment and showed a tonne of class. He won't be going anywhereCan't drop T-train after that. It was probably his best game for the club. He needs to stay at least another week to cement his spot or as a reward for that effort.

Oath he does! How many times now? At least 3 right?Johnson sure does make a habit of getting suspended just before having to play us.
Yep, this would make it at least three.Oath he does! How many times now? At least 3 right?

T-train?
When was his last suspension? Can't see him getting rubbed out for that unless there's some additional weighting for prior convictions.Johnson sure does make a habit of getting suspended just before having to play us.
I think that final a couple of years ago that Demetriou made us play in Geelong. When was his last suspension? Can't see him getting rubbed out for that unless there's some additional weighting for prior convictions.
And yeah, the no carry over points thing this year will probably see him get off. When was his last suspension? Can't see him getting rubbed out for that unless there's some additional weighting for prior convictions.
