Interesting. For me, unless Mzungu pulls up okay after training it will be:

In: Tabs, Croz
Out: Suban, MDB (unlucky)

We need to expose Geelong with outside run, and Croz could do that as a more attacking option. We keep Sherro. Not sure who would be sub, though.

I am going to write this in very small font size.
I have just had another look at our fixture and if we can get over Geelong this week it is not beyond possibility that Fremantle could go to the bye undefeated.
Don't attack me or ridicule, I just ask you to have a look at the draw.

Did anyone else read this as a whisper? ;);)

Not beyond the realms of possibility at all. Tough ask but anything can happen.

We would never attack you Fred :)

Not sure about deboer. He's a fit guy but if he doesn't play, that's effectively 1 quarter in 2 games. Yeah I know they make up the km's post game but that's not much game fitness

I call it - he plays a full game

Croz sub

Mz misses out

Tabs in

Mayne out

De Boer could play a full game for Peel. That'd fix it.

If it's a wet game you're going to want De Boer in your side. He's a beast in those contested games. On the topic of other selections play Taberner and have Crozier as the sub, if it's not working they can sub Tabs off for some added outside pace.

Drop Suban and Mayne (even if he's not injured best to play it safe and he's definitely replaceable at this point in time.)

They are looking slow-we without motlop.. But with Stanley coming in even taller

Interesting to see the weather and decisions unfold come Sunday

Which is why he may be given a full game at Peel, MDB. Don't think the Gu is ready yet. Want him cherry ripe for Sydney.

Draw looked at. I think we supporters would be rightfully disappointed if we have any more than 2 loses by the bye.

I sense dangerous signs of cockiness creeping in on these forums.

Only one game into the season guys and we are facing a tough opp this week. Stay grounded.

Agreed. We thought we were hot shit after R1 last year too, but it was all downhill from there.

I'm still worried about this game. We need to trap it in our half, otherwise we will end up really stretched for talls at the back. We won't be able to have our usual sweeper over there if they can man our guys up over there.

I'd back our midfield, and we always lift for Geelong, but remember:

No Crowley to get into Stevie's head.

No Dawson to sit on Hawkins' head all game.

2nd tall in Mitch Clark.

3rd tall in Stanley.

3 extra players in yellow who always lift for Geelong. In Geelong.

Yeah, let's not get ahead of ourselves.

This game is all about midfield.
That is where we need to win. I really can't see them playing Bartel and we have too many strong mids for them to cover.
Have Geelong named Troy Pannell ?

No way. Nice dry conditions and let our outside runners tear them to shreds. Wet weather makes the game more contested which allows them to possibly grind out a win. Small posibility but still.
