It's not the dogs fault though mate. They are playing to the interpretation afforded to them by second rate, part time, inefficient, unprofessional umpires.

The issue is with consistent application & interpretation of the rules. Somehow it feels like we are playing unser different rules contest to contest.

Looking at the pure stats it's clear there is a trend. So either the umpires are actually corrupt (be it "from higher up" or elsewhere) or, the likely scenario, the dogs know what interpretations to exploit against us &/or specific players.

Not the dogs fault if they are deemed to be following the rules.

The umpires & AFL though. That is a different story completely.

That may be so for some of the free kicks or lack thereof ("clever handballs" ) but some were just blatantly wrong. The Aliir one was just the last straw for me. I couldn't actually believe it.

(And I know I shouldn't harp on the grand final but the sliding free kicks that weren't paid were examples where it has nothing to do with the dogs' interpretation or exploitation "skills").

I'd be bringing Edwards in next week for Cunningham at least he might do something.

Fox looked to dish off instead of taking the responsibility and a couple of times stood back when it was his time to go. Otherwise he was solid.

Keiran Jack struggling big time.

Debutants would have got something out of that game and as others have said we are at least continuing to blood the future.

Good call but both were down in the first half but obviously buddy was huge in the last and jack did some good things.
