Luckily for us it seems, the stars from Collingwood still miss. No mass influx of changes for them.

We'd be heavily favoured, granted that we haven't lost a home game (bar Freo) and Collingwood still have a depleted lineup. Weather is also said to be clearing up for Saturday night, so the rain should subside. Im confident of an Eagles win here.

Notable changes for us, Kerr in with Scooter starting in the centre anddddd Mitch Brown listed in the forward line!!

Hunter left in the emergencies, will have to bide his time to play his 150th.

Gee I hope that it doesnt rain, they are obviously worried about our talls in the forward line and Cox of course. Good to see that they are on the back foot all ready worrying about us, Fraser is a massive inclusion for them as he can go forward. McKenzie, Brown and Glass down back though and he isnt super tall so they should be able to limit his effectivness forward.

Wood at FF and Shaw in the forward line?? hopefully Nico can also lock down Davis who can still kick a bag from sfa if you let him. Like always I rekon there will be one or two changes in the emergencies, either Barham or Beams to come back in Barham to tag Kerr mabye?

I'm totally expecting some kind of crazy gameplan from the Pies because on paper they don't look a chance, and we're not exactly the cream of the crop.

I could imagine them clearing for the forward line for Davis and flooding the midfield. Making it a real scrap with the weather.

Heres a question... why the hell are we always the last to come out with our teams? at least on afl.com

Are they done in name order or something? or reverse order of awesomeness.

It cant be the latter one, cos Freo always take ages too

We may get longer to submit the teams due to the time difference
Yeah thats what i always thought it was too. While the Vics have all wrapped up for the day, we're still out their working our arses off.

I was thinking that but have noticed that Fremantle get theres in on time some times. Mabye its a case of getting the extra time due to the time difference because it puts us at a 2 hour disadvantage for team selection. Its annoying but you would think it gives us a slight tactical advantage seeing who we are going to play against before submitting our team.

Mabye theres a provisional squad we have to submit at 3 and then can only change players within that squad from 3-5??

If thats the case Fremantle are idiots for putting there sheets in before the allowed time.

I've also noticed that the earlier our game is played, the earlier our team tends to be submitted. We wait for ages generally for the Sunday team squad. Whereas a Friday night or Saturday arvo game is generally listed pretty early.

Mitch Brown forward!

I can see where you're coming from but I reckon that teams usually have enough spys and ears to the ground to know who's fit and who's not.

And suprise selections only happen with lesser players. It's not like we would drop Kerr/Cox just to throw a team off but we may with a Brett Jones.

Although, I guess seeing another teams list would help in deciding if we should/shouldn't risk an injured player.

Pretty pleased with the line up :thumbsu:

Good to see Scotter, Masten, Ebert all in the same line up ;).

Also glad we haven't rushed hunter back in.

could we see some brown on brown action here?

do you reckon they'll be as feisty as the Selwoods are?

Imagine that - the two brown twins get into a fight.. only lynch would have enough balls to step in and break it up.

I reckon if there is any rain around Seaby will be replaced by Hunter and wouldn't be surprised to rock up on Sat night and hear Jmac is a late replacement for Kerr.

The second time this season Brett Jones has been omitted. Would start to worry about his future, as a fair few of us (I included) thought he'd be in the mix for AA back pocket going on recent seasons performances. But hes been below par on a couple occasions this season. I still thought he's kept his direct opponent relatively quiet more often than not, just his decision making with the ball has been pretty poor.

our team looks better and better every week.
ebert is an awesome in..

is it just me or does our team look so much better wihtout the mobile tall utilities like hunter, spangher and staker who really just play bit roles here and there?

I hope that Bones emmision doesnt come back to bite us in the arse if some of there unknown small forwards start to get up. Biggest shock SEABY!! good on him for maintaining a spot, hopefully he can finish his career with us in good form. Good to see Ebert back into the side and Kerr as well, very attacking midfield.

Strong team compared to Collingwood.

He'd probably get confused and eat the wrong Brown:D

Very happy with this lineup. Hopefully the guys get out and play well together.

Also, wouldn't surprise me if Seaby is a last minute withdrawal. Not that he didn't play well last week, but Collingwood have Bryan in the ruck, and it'll be wet.
