100% unless he decides to give the game away. Wouldn’t surprise me if he chose that path because feral opposition crowds will not let him forget even if 100% exoneratedSo will he stay on the list and play next season?

The complainant should definately be charged. I think the witness should too. It sounds like he cracked under the pressure of being cross examined rather then changing his testimony out of a desire to do the right thing. If it was the latter I would be more sympathic to letting him off. He also lied to backup what he knew was a lie from the complainant. Thats worse then lying to support her because he thought she was telling the truth. So what happens now re perjury / PTCOJ?
On one hand this really does need to be punished - you can't have people doing this sort of thing. It ruins lives of the falsely accused, and gives another reason why people would be reluctant to report sexual assault. And the Police having to cover the legal fees - well that's just indirectly out of our taxes.
On the other hand, he did admit to it eventually, so there is that. If you come down too hard then no one will ever retract false testimony again. (But it may help stop them making them in the first place)

Bruhn could also take civil action against both, but might just want to move on with his life.
Based on facts that have been now released its highly questionable whether this case should have even made it to court so Vic police should also be under scrutiny.
You're a Geelong supporter I wouldn't expect anything else, the only people that really know what happened are the 3 people that were involvedHere we go...
You're not about to start up another one of your clown routines, are you?she didnt necessary lie about that, thats not the specific evidence that was proven a lie
His bombshell evidence included him admitting the complainant had tried to show him her police statement; and told him she had lied to police even before he gave his police statement.
“(She) told you previously that she lied to the police about the rape allegations?” Mr Rattray asked.
Mr Martin replied: “From my memory, yes’.”
The witness said the complainant wanted him to make a statement that supported hers.
Yes she did.she didnt necessary lie about that, thats not the specific evidence that was proven a lie
**** me you’ve just won back to back flags. Enjoy itJust because they lied about some things doesnt mean something didnt happen, it does mean however that they aren't credible which is the basis of a rape charge, whatever happened the situation has been a mess for everyone
I am**** me you’ve just won back to back flags. Enjoy it

Ive never said whether I think hes innocent or guilty and I still havent, ive only discussed how absurd the finger injury wasAnd you’ve spent this entire thread trying to throw shade at him and the club even down to how they explained his absence under legal advice.
So we wouldn’t expect anything less from you aside from ‘this proof doesn’t prove anything.’
Might be a good time to just suck it up and move on.
And you've had it explained to you countless times that neither Geelong nor the AFL could legally give you the satisfaction you wanted and give the reason why he wasn't available. Drop the dope act, it has well and truly run its course.Ive never said whether I think hes innocent or guilty and I still havent, ive only discussed how absurd the finger injury was
The Herald Sun can reveal the league removed Bruhn’s stand down order on October 6 this year, meaning he is free to resume training with first-to-fourth year teammates on November 24.
The fifth-year midfielder has been devastated by the ordeal which ended on Tuesday when the charges were dropped following admissions from a key witness that they lied to police.
The extraordinary development is set to spark debate about whether Bruhn should have been stood down, but the AFL has stood by the process considering the seriousness of the allegations.
Geelong and the AFL were not able to publicly explain the player's absence during the season.
Mr Bruhn's name was also removed from public court lists.
Mr Dann said those who'd attacked Mr Bruhn online "should step away from their keyboards and hang their heads in shame".
that is fake news, the club and the afl did exactly what I said a few weeks later wtf how many times do I have to say thisAnd you've had it explained to you countless times that neither Geelong nor the AFL could legally give you the satisfaction you wanted of the reason why he wasn't available.
