There was interest in Butcher Harks, but not as much as was publicized and certainly not 5 years.

Why oh Why do we always look at spuds or in this case a salary stick. I had a look at him, Norman Gunston looks stronger, forget it, any tall key forward that looks pencil thin will never star. I don't get why you would think he could be strong key forward at least the key forwards in the Juniors had a bit of meat on them, the ones that made it. He would take years if any to get size on him. I would be trying as hard to get Chris Dawes, Luke Mitchell could come good, he has a bit of muscle and size, who isn't all skin and bones same as Casboult, who trimmed down.

Yeah i had a look at Kreuzer he still had a bit of a body as a junior, not like the size today but he wasn't that thin like a Tony Notte.

Gunston looks way too thin if these a recent. He looks like a midfielder, that needs to bulk up. He might be as good as Brad Fisher in the future, but don't see him being a monster forward.

Sam Reid could be a go, when he builds his top body strength, could be a Lockett type, his legs look cement type already like a Silvagni and not too much of a match stick. He would be even better with a beard and Mo like his father.

I go for him as his father Bruce played for Carlton. I remember Bruce Reid was a descent hard working footballer and brother John. I was disappointing at the time, that We decided to not recruit the super star Jim Sewell who crossed to the Bulldogs. Mark Maclure was used as Centre Half Forward, so Jim would probably replace him if we did and Mark was a legend. Jim was also capable of playing CHB, he was a terrific footballer.

Jim was set to go to Carlton I remember, he was tied to us and even went on an overseas trip with the players, something happen with Ian Harris And Alex Jesaulenko. He was cleared back and obtain a clearance from Carlton. Footscray swapped Bruce Reid for him. I have to check this up. I should see Jim, he would know more about it. Jim would have been a great player at Carlton, I reckon we would have sneaked another flag, at that decade with him.

I know plenty about the current team, and I can name several players that will not be part of our next premiership. I won't list the players, but people will see who they are. These players who can't mark a football with little pressure, choke with pressure or Can't kick or chase and put their body on the line. Those who have nothing special that can't be tapped into, a very Good Coach will drop these type of players and make changes to the list.

I thought he signed already. I wish he didn't, would benefit us so much, having a key forward ready for 2012, and not in 2014 or 2015.
