Well if Rendell is on board i would let him have the final say, being a ruckman and also selecting and trading players like tippett, jacobs and maric. He knows how to get a ruck at least

I'm a Fremantle member(don't shoot me), I get to see the best and worst of him. I can only assume most of you are judging him based of highlight packages. He does have potential but will take too long to develop. We need someone ready made.

We need to use his value to plug holes we absolutely need to plug if we're any chance next year.
Unfortunately, he has to go in my opinion.

My problem is Wellingham doesn't use his pace to hurt as an outside player because his positional play is poor. He's fast but doesn't use it to his fullest advanage. I think because he is a better inside player than outside and so rarely gets to play there. But with Ball, Pendles, Swan and Beams that is not likely to change. I wouldn't be averse to trading him to address a list need and look at getting pace in the draft and with mature agers in the rookie. Motlop or Marshall would be ideal as mature agers. If we had two back to back first rounders we could get some almost top end talent as well. The other thought is to get another inside mid like Caddy or Stevens to allow Swan to be a more outside player.

Thats the million dollar question. We just don't know. If not we go for Marshall. I actually hope we target both.

Baffles me why we're so interested in Melbourne FC players! I understand that some may be on the outer and possibly the attitude of some guys would be poor with the lack of progress through the years gone and future potential.
