No - please elaborate.

EDIT: Unless this is referring to why somebody was banned or something, which doesn't interest me. Not quite following your post.
I too would be interested in more details here.

We had a guy lined up in the sign-up thread who got told to “f*** off” by Moz because he was “irrelevant”, which he took to heart and bit back, getting suspended as well and deciding he didn’t need this “sh*t” in his life and quit.

Since then a select group of wonderful humanitarians from the Wonders have been dancing gleefully on his grave saying he’s such a horrible individual that he deserved it.

Needless to say our relationship with the Wonders has soured.

It’s not all gangways and cruise ships mate, stop rubbing it in.
Did i mention i am going on a cruise to NZ in November :thumbsu: First cruise in three years , i cant wait.

Doesn’t mean Team B deserves the 4 points when they don’t win the game.

Team B has the same chance to win the game as every other club, independent of anything to do with Team A, if it is truly a random Sim. Therefore, if they don’t win on their own merit, stiff shit, no points.

It has nothing to do with Team A. This is about Team B
And if: Team A could be well out of finals contention, and Team B borderline finals contention, and Team A could deliberately no-show, to prevent Team B from making the finals, due to removing their chance to win points.

I would imagine site moderators. The admin is not always a moderator. They are separate roles.

Luckily, of course, we only need to name 20 eligible players in a team, and allowed squad sizes are much larger than that. If you weren't sure if TheCoach16 would still be banned, I'm sure the Bombers could have named instead one of your other eligible players.

Unless, of course, you had a small squad, and many of your players were banned at the same time, meaning you didn't have enough eligible eligible players to field an appropriate side.

Which would, of course, be the fault of the club, and not really have anything to do with the administrator.
This season will be dissected for years to come and many will Wonder if the goodwill they burned by deliberately trying to sabotage a team already reeling from an unprecedented event was worth it.

So many brave people revelling in our misery would be even more embarrassed with their behaviour if they knew what happened, instead of assuming.

Sanctimonious is an interesting colour to choose to wear.

Floating Petrie dish. Take plenty of soap, barf bags, toilet paper and sanitiser with you.

facepalm

You sim the game regardless, with ineligible players and all. Just penalise Team A for not having enough eligible players.

If Team A wins, they get 4 points - penalty (should probably be 4 points to make it net 0), if Team B wins they get the 4 points and Team A will lose points due to the penalty.

So what? Run the random Sim regardless, as I have said at every point of the discussion.

Put in made up names or pick a team from players at every other club. If the sim is truly random, their chance of winning is not effected by anything Team A does or doesn’t do.

Phew. Was starting to think I was talking in a foreign language. Didn’t think it was that hard to follow.

What's the point of simming the game? You still need to give the four points to the legit team anyway. And the illegit team don't have 20 players that can be used.

You don’t have to “give” shit to Team B. You run the random Sim so they have the same chance of winning as anyone else. If they lose, bad luck, they get nothing … like every other team that loses that week.

Team B has no rights to an automatic 4 points, purely based on being drawn to play Team A that week.

No matter how many times you children say it, you cannot I repeat cannot play a game without a team.
Next time I open up the sim I'll try plugging in a banned player into the application.

I don't recall it ever giving me a notification saying "This player is currently suspended on Bigfooty.com and is therefore ineligible to be used for this simulation." But I'll double check just to be sure.

The make up of any team has no impact on the outcome of the random Sim according to you in many previous discussions. Put in random names, real names, or a mixture of both … Team B then still has the same chance of winning the game as they always did.

Nothing fairer than that.

That would mess with the historical player data although i think 'filler' player names may have been used in the early days  It wouldnt be advisable to use players from other clubs for the same reason and it would also potentially result in Mobbs votes being allocated erroneously.

In practice if a team tries to forfeit by not submitting a teamsheet that round the simmers would just use the previous weeks team lineup.
