Kind of picked this up as an impulse buy, but I'm really enjoying it.

My only complaint seems to be the same as everybody else, which is that the graphics are pretty poor. I have the original as well and I'd say that that actually looks better than the sequel.

However, the game is so enjoyable and feature-packed, I've grown to neglect the graphical shortcomings and love it.

I haven't got too far into the story mode yet as I've been doing the activities, diversions and just free-roaming about but I like how it's continued on well from the original and seems to have alot to other.

Anybody else played this and enjoyed it?

Today I traded CoD5 (fix your god damn network problems treyarch!) for this.

This game puts GTAIV to shame. Absolutely awesome so far.

NOTHING in this game is a chore. Even just fist fighting with pedestrians is a blast.

I couldn't care less about the graphics, which aren't too bad anyway, but my only complaint would be the speed at which you drive at. You're basically driving F1 cars. I guess I will get use to it in time.

The physics are cool. Not as realistic as GTAIV, but they add to the 'over the top' feel of the whole game.

Now i'm torn between SR2 and KZ2.

A new patch and DLC coming to Saints Row 2 very soon, the PS3 patch will come out before the 360 patch, DLC is yet to be announced with what is in it or when it will come out.

I'm juggling this between RE5, Killzone 2, FIFA 09 and whatever else I feel like playing, so it's a little hard to give time to all.

I've only had one game of the multiplayer so far, it was alright, a little lacking, but the co-op looks great.

Yeah, it's fantastic fun, especially trying to break your record for how far you've thrown them.

GTAIV I agree with you, but Fallout 3 was brilliant and deserved every award it won IMO

I'll give you GTA IV, but Fallout 3 was an amazing game and personally my GOTY. I believe it didn't recieve as many awards as it should have considering its quality.

I believe that you can co-op through the whole game, haven't tried it yet, but I am almost 100% sure, probably someone else who actually has done it could say, but that is the impression I'm under.

I love the free aim too, reminds me a bit of Uncharted's, that was a fantastic aiming system.

Others definitely can join in your missions. You can always go back and re-play the mission if you feel they've ruined it for you or made it to easy.
I'd rather an online gamer join in than the recruitable homies.
