Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

Trade more, people TRADE MORE!

The early bird catches the worm! Get in there and make those moves ASAP, before someone else does!

Hahaha.

YOU have two trades every week...you should trade those two trades the first 10 weeks = 20 trades

maximise those trades every week and don't forget get rid of those underperforming players

to do this you must sideways those 20 trades, so if a player is $400,000 then trade him for a $400,000 player.

then you have the very best side for the rest of the year.

good luck

hahaha yw for the advice - go for it.

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

ok so i need some help with robbie gray, i have the feeling he is going to be consistently hampered by these injuries. So i can trade him for either shannon byrnes or Buddy Franklin(which one more reliable?) or i can trade him for eddie betts and packet 70k. AND lastly i could trade him for Jack Zeibel and pocket around 200k to upgrade say a martin to an ablett later in the season.

what do i do?

Everyone who picked Gray has that quandry. Wait at least until after round two (presuming you have someone on the bench to cover) and have a look at the scores for round two. I also have Gray and am nervous about keeping him. But by waiting until after rounds 2 or 3 if you are decided on trading him you'll be able to have a better idea of who isn't a one-hit wonder.

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

B4 round 1 started i swaped higgins for Franklin, but after rd 1 i realised that rd 1-3 dont relli count.
My main problem is should i trade higgins in for Franklin and free up a bit of cash(mind u not much) or do u think higgins can get equally as high scores as Franklin?????????????

Of course rounds 1 - 3 count. What kind of crazy talk is this?
And no, don't waste a trade on something like that.

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

Ok. I understand the reasons for not trading early, but I'm still considering offloading Chris Newman.

EVEN if he scores 100 in each of the next two weeks, he's still looking at at $45,000 price drop following Round 3. That's definitely worth a trade in my mind - particularly if you can capitalise on someone else's above average performances (ie. O'Brien).

Newman will be more consistant than anyone you could possibly downgrade to. I wouldn't do it to be honest, unless he pulls out another extremely low score this week. He's a keeper, so you don't want to look to trade him.

Newman scored 111 and 117 against the Doggies in '09.

Just something to think about.

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

Don't jump of Newman this early in the season, because once he hits good form it could come back to bite you on the ass big time.

I was thinking of trading Jack Riewoldt out for Jack Ziebell, but i think i might just hold on for 1-2 more weeks to see what happens with Jack and how he plays before i trade him out.

Also in the next few weeks, If sheppard isn't getting a game might trade him out for Goose or Waters, even though i hate using trades early up in the season but.

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

Run with Goose or Maguire this week. McMahon is definetly in their best 22 and will be back soon. Wasted trade.

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

it's probably stupid, but i am strongly considering trading clark for kreuzer and then turning gray into brown with the extra $$$

should i?
