Yeah nah. Shifty Shorten would have finished the job ruining our economy that Gillard and Rudd started. We are lucky to have safe hands on the tiller at such times of global financial turmoil. Would have been nice not to have inherited record debt though, could have stimulated things a bit.

Treasury modelling had the unemployment rate supported by between 1.6 and 1.7% due to the stimulus packages, meaning ongoign flows into consolidated revenue in subsequent years paid for a large portion of the stimulus.

It was a range of measures that were rolled out, not just a cash handout. The schools funding (as controversial as it was) did most of the heavy lifting, with lessons learned from 93 shaping much of it (Henry and Stevens were the actual architects, Rudd just said yes to their proposals).

Marshall made the effort in SOuf to cancel his so why hasn't Annastacia? What difference does it make where she is?
