I don't know how 'mythical' it is, but this is it.
My brother collected swords, including a beautiful rapier, but when he passed away, I asked my sister-in-law if I could have one; and I wanted the most primitive-looking - something that would be a useful weapon in its day, not for show.
It has very sentimental value to me.
