if you go back through the results, the gardiners havn't played seniors since about round 7, and peter dye only one game since then. this is due to several reasons, that i won't elaborate on!! very handy recruits for our reserves side though!! can't wait for saturday, maybe lonewolf would like to meet a few of our boys in a dark alley somewhere for a quiet,
, a quiet chat we'll call it!! the result would be him not playing on saturday, would greatly improve our chances of winning!!

Sorry blac, don't take it the wrong way, but I don't trust some of your boys in broad daylight, so the alley is out of the question. Look forward to catching up with you after the game, though. Pity the discotrain has left the station, was looking forward to lining up on him again.
Would love them to play, but none of them train. Coaching staff have a policy on training. Problem is, there is our spine from the forward line in the seniors.
Its heartbreaking seeing players like this not in the 1s. Funny thing is we are no sure thing in the 2s either.

Deano be careful what you wish for! you ran a muck in the first game before i went on you and you didnt get a kick, maybe 1 hehe then you went to the forward line and kicked 2 or 3 goals, not a bad place to hide!

good to see the eagles get over mount by a couple of goals. interested to hear the skye boys behind the goals cheering on mount, why would that be madman?? and what side did you guys have in today mount pretty boy?? A,C or F?? ha ha ha
Skye werent cheering for anyone in particular, I said there was no way mount could come back from 6 goals to nothing in the 1st qtr, a few others disagreed so bets were laid!!

The trouble with South Yarra is that it's full of Richmond supporters. Couldn't convince anyone to go to the SFL game and ended up at the G cheering on the Sainters. Will be there next week. Incidentally, if anyone rocks up to Div 1 today I'll be on the gate.

One upset on the weekend with the eagles knocking over mount, they must be still ruing the last round defeat to the cobras coughing up the double chance! So whats peoples thoughts this week. Both teams have no senior teams playing so will be as strong as they could be, Spoke to players from both sides on the weekend and both were very confident, think it maybe a battle between skyes midfield against the dandy forwards, dandy will have to watch dave paten very good and very smart player dont let his age fool them and oconnor think either vella fleming or reidy would be a good match up, as will skye have to watch the JOOCE CABOOSE, lawrence and duggan. If the JOOCE CABOOSE stays home on a friday night for a change, yes thats right stay home this week JOOCE, and providing its not wet dandy will win, just! but if its wet i think skye might be too slick off half back,and pates nouse through the middle will get them home. Ill say DANDY by 13points! still a bit confused by the leagues finals layout too where the winner of the first semi gets a weeks rest, what a bonus!

What number is Paten? Is he 53 or somewhere around there? I reckon Vinny O'Connor is the one to watch for Skye. What are the eligibility rules for Reserves finals anyway?

i also spoke to half adozen or so players from skye after we won there not happy with EAGLES winning and DANDENONG are the club they feared most in the finals well now you can fear the mighty EAGLES skye out in straight sets ha ha ha

interested to hear some tips for this week!! think skye will start favourites, the only way dandy will win is if they can put enough pressure on skye's runners and force some turnovers!! if this is the case and the 3 tenors up front can grab enough marks, then dandy may well get up!! think it will be skye by 20 points though!!

MPB must be drowning his sorrows somewhere in a gutter. It appears that ever since MPB opened his wide mouth his team have fallen apart at the seams. All that celebrating after downing Dandy, thinking they had the double chance must have taken the wind out of their sails. Hope you enjoyed that win coz it was to be your last of the year!! Im sure the Dandy boys will remember Mounts celebrations for a long time to come.
As for this wkend Im going with Dandy to steal the points in a close one. If Dandy can stop Vinny and his fellow midfielders, and as pointed out earlier they can get JOOCE to stay home Friday night it looks like it could be a great game with temp to be 20 and sunny, looks set for a shoot out. In that case I believe Dandy have the firepower up fwd to kick more of a score than Skye.

Hey Pinata,
JOOCE will be under house arrest this Friday nite. There will be no sign of the big fella dancing up a strom until Sat nite hopefully when we will be celebrating a hard fought victory.
Should be a great game with both sides at full strength. Great weather expected so both teams should perform well.
