On what I've seen of them both, which is only their games against us (and I suppose Dandy last week) I keep thinking Dandy is better, as I have all year. However the Eagles ended up beating them twice. Without having seen blac against Bart, I would have thought Bart would kill him around the ground. Incidentally, Bart had the worst game I've seen him play last week. Needs to put the body on the line more, back into packs, be Dandy's "man up" in the contests. Too many times he waited down like a rover and Skye got it pretty much uncontested. Vella is important but didn't have a good one on the weekend, leading me to the conclusion that for him to be effective Bart needs to be winning the ruck. The thing that should see Doveton home, if they weren't going to win already, was that from what I can tell, Big Gus is eligible for Reserves (can you confirm/deny blac04?). I've seen Doveton twice. One time they kicked 25 straight against us, and the other we knocked them off. They're a lot less friendly when they're getting beaten. The first time they were that good that not one in particular stood out, the second they were that bad that not one in particular stood out. Who's that guy with the blonde tips in dark hair blac? Tall and athletic looking, Mundy got the job on him and killed him last time. But he played 1s the first time around and looks like he can play. Can't remember the number. Is Feathers still getting a game? Any word on who always dropped is?
Anyway, sorry Jooce, but I've tipped you guys against Doveton twice and you've let me down. Doveton by 3 goals.

Yeah, but this is Ressies....
I think Wormys army could cause a upset here,as long as the have the same team in that defaeted mount a couple of weeks back.
Although Dandy have the bigger bodys,the key is to apply plenty of pressure and run then off there legs, not rocket science i know but from what i have seen this year it seems to work.
It will make it harder to get good delivery to Joel and there other big fowards.
The Doveton team that played mount is capable of this but it must be not get sucked in or instergate any of the crap both teams have a reputation for, there foward setup was very potent in the first half in the semi and this will be the key to setting up the game, quick movment out of the middle will be tough for Doveton as Dandy set up pretty well there,first Doveton must try and nullafie the big ruckmans influence by pressuring there hard running onballers at center bounces and causing turn overs.
As i said above it's not rocket science BUT being able to excute is another thing.
My picks: Doveton if same foward set up as semi, if not Dandy.
Must go now and pull the splinters out from not getting of the fence

From what I've seen Bart will kill it in the middle and give his on ballers first use and if they move it out of the middle quickly enough and get it to their big fowards joel will have a feild day!!

From what I saw on the weekend, he started in the Ruck for the first quarter. He won about 50% of the taps, then had to go to CHB to try and stop the flow. He probably matched up on the wrong opponent though. The dandy coach put him on Pat Malone, where he should have gone to Walker. Bart held Pat to one kick for the rest of the game from what I saw.
Spoke to some of the skye boys after game, they claimed if it wasn't for Bart being in their forward line, They would have won by about 10 gaols at least.

We can only hope that Hendo has his kicking boot on and kick a bag and a halve for us. He has been in some stellar form of late.
