It seems like some really good recruiting amongst Div 2 clubs, should be a higher standard in 2018.
Going back to an compromised draw & having Doveton Eagles recruited so well it should be a fantastic season.
Any early predictions on the teams to beat, I think Beena & Keysie probably are the 2 standouts at this stage.

You on your way there GT?

Sure am. Looking forward to getting back together with a few premierships teammates in LJ, Bruno, Wilson & Marasco.

Seem like a good club so looking forward to having a run around in Div.2 and playing against some new opponents (Keysey etc).

How many departing GT? If true that there is a few decent ones on the way out then that’s shame. St Pauls were a decent young side last season who looked to be one of the fancied teams in 2018.

There's no exodus of players at St Pauls, if anything they've gained some pretty handy pickups in Curtis Murfett (2016 Seaford b&f winner, only 20 years old), Matt Herbstreit & Brendan Dawes returned plus a few others coming back into the fold.

Their list is still very young and I expect them to be Top 4 no issues. They have already 55 - 60 players on the track thus far so in a good place.

Good to hear. They showed some promise last year and likewise I expect they will be thereabouts again in 2018.

Jimmy Bartel going to play 6 games + finals for Doveton Eagles
