Oh dear, sorry mate didn’t realise I had double quoted. Fixed now. Anyway I’ll be having a listen to your podcast tonight as I have been out most of ttoday.

If the showdown starts getting too painful I’m heading out to the shed. It hasn’t been cleaned out in about 5 years, will be a good distraction.

Condolences mate. I feel your pain - my Mum died in 2012: Port beat the Kangaroos the following Saturday.

I would like to know who the programmer is for the show, who ever it is, needs to be sacked.

Overall, 5AA have dropped the ball, for gotten all about the listener. I have been listening for too long now and the topics on game days like this is really sad. 3 hours of dribble, then at 12 we switch over to the 3AW to listen to VIC gossip and news, that's a major improvement however its not what SA listeners want to listen to. Why not carry on with a Showdown Show leading up to the game from 12PM? Plenty of Showdown history to chat about. Yet they spend 1/3 of the show talking about one bloke.

The sports show desperately needs a woman on it, get some intelligence into the show. It needs a real shake up.

back to the game,

I have tipped the Cows to win by 2 points...... however after reading some posts on here it seems that its our to lose. We are very good at that....

As I have said before, our finals campaign starts today..... this is one team we don't want to play in the finals, its in our hands to do so.

Just in the back of my mind but if we lose today and there aren't any major upsets for the rest of the round, we will sit 7th. Carn boys please stand up today. Want it more, bust your gut, take it on and get the win!
