We're playing well, there's always gonna be some skill drop off in the pressure of a Showdown.

On current form we win this. Issue of course is whether we are consistent

We should get them in the third if past form means anything

We stopped that shit handball running out of defence from part way through that quarter and started a shit kick out instead.

We are balls deep in this for the win motherfarkas

Can't shake them.
We’re our own worst enemy.

We just do silly things every now and then to let them get back into it.

Boak slap into traffic.
Bonner free kick against.
DBJ missing an easy snap on goal
SPP naively dragging the ball in under him
Boak and Rockliff over-cooking handballs in our defence.

Hombsch though takes the cake today. The singular worst display of man-on-man defending I have seen. Whoever his opponent is is having a field day.

Walker also ominously getting on top of Clurey who needs to pick up his defending of the lead.

The big concern is the lack of defensive pressure we’ve applied all over the ground. Their ball carriers are hitting too many short kicks. We’re relying on more attacking handball and overlap run.

We must do better at defending through the midfield and in our forward line. Not enough tackling and harassing today.

On a more general scope this is shaping up to be the best day of AFL this season and for a while.

We're living in a bizarro world today. Top notch attack, shithouse defence.

Jenkins is a weird player.

Generally the definition of mediocrity who gets taken out by most good defenders, but can occasionally have a blinder. Did it against Rance earlier this season.

Hombsch shouldn't go to him again this game.
