Crows will likely finish with the wooden spoon so we have to take that result with a grain of salt but still good to see we got the job done as we should have. The Gold Coast result vs West Coast was pleasing however, as was the draw between Richmond and the wobbles. If we can get two wins out of the next three then finals should be a genuine chance.

I heard the commentators say they are expecting 10 wins is probably gonna lock in finals. We only need 8 more. I still reckon we are somewhat unknown until we play a half decent side as there are probably quite a few teams that will run around the witches hats we played last night, but I think we make it from here more often than we don't.

I was hard on Todd Marshall. He deserved the criticism. He was reactive and lacked confidence. In a reserves preseason game he played alongside Buzza. Saw how he busted the packs and demanded the ball. Marshall with twice the talent was shown how to work a forward line And hasn’t looked back. Looks a lot more confident even when the team is down. Will definitely turn a game off of his own boot if other team’s don’t get the matchup right. Good for you for sticking by him though...

a) the crows backline is where they still have quality

b) he’s been great through the under 23’s game, the preseason and now the first two rounds. His finish to last year was very strong and pundits like myself were already predicting a strong 2020.

c) he’s always shown glimpses of this, and plenty have seen it and reported it but the haters hate.

d) wasn’t this his first uninterrupted preseason?

Just reading the thread back. Feels like the most fun I've had in years as a Port fan.

Seeing Theo's mug after we belted his side, the 1500 fans booing Ricciuto, Bronx cheering Walker, as well as the crows fans doing a South Adelaide style car beeping after kicking a goal to cut the margin down to 7000 points were pretty hilarious subplots.
