A bit disappointing that pick 3 Jagga Smith is playing regular games in the A's despite an ACL tear last year while pick 4 Sid Draper is still languishing in the B's.

Jagga does need to put on some weight though!

seems cheating to be massless and therefore capable of speed of light travel!!

Jagga started well this year, but he'd be close to a spell I reckon.

Very lightly framed, though weightless is a bit of a stretch !!!

This is afc though... we don't invest in our juniors. We play the good guys.

Sid is both.

He'll play when we deem him fit enough
Yeah, hard to criticise them not giving Sid a game this year when he has either been injured or underdone so far.

And to be honest, his form when selected hasn't demanded he be picked anyway

Needs a good run at it to get fit, show some good form, then into the AFL side. Hopefully he can put it together, am starting to get a bit concerned

Eh, not the first to get hit with the injury bug in the early part of his career. The good sign that he will is his body has filled out a lot in the last 8 months, which should hopefully help with durability in the mid-to-long term.

We did miss a trick last year however, as Draper was really how we should have used that last half forward slot instead of the merry-go-round between Murphy, Taylor and Pedlar.

Very well rounded stat line by Sid yesterday in the SANFL

Stat line of only 13 touches, 3 tackles and 48 Fantasy points in the SANFL tonight

Did he get midfield time?

What's going on here, should we be starting to worry?

Im worried because we look like we want to turn a kid with attacking weapons we lack, into a more defensive minded footballer.

That worries me, the player himself does not.

You're in a perpetual state of worry

Im worried he doesnt seem to be playing at the level that got him drafted in the exact same competition. There are so many variables though. Playing out of position, being forced to concentrate on specific areas of his game and defensive running patterns etc, who knows. But he looks like he is getting further away from selection at this stage.

A consistent trend with many of our young talent.. development at the club a massive concern

Assuming he's fit - Draper needs to be playing 1s now, staying in the 2s doesn't seem to be helping him

Not yet.

If the senior coaching group are lucky enough to hold onto their jobs at years end.... then we worry.

We seriously need to spend decent money on a coaching group for our seconds, going the cheap route is killing us

Across the board really.

Im not sure its necessarily Wright's fault or Panos' fault or whoever else, theyre only coaching to the plan.
