Sorry to intrude on your board, but I thought you might be interested...
Tonight at the Royal Standard Hotel in West Melbourne, there is a charity night (basically, we raise funds to help sick kids in hospital by giving them entertainment in memory of a friends son who passed away).
The relevant part for you guys is that there is a signed Essendon jumper being auctioned off (credit to Ben Howlett here, he's done this for for us for a couple of years now, and last year he and a few of his teammates came along for a while - no promises on that happening again though).
Not sure what time that auction will happen (I imagine if you call they could give you an idea), but it's usually a pretty good night anyway, for a good cause, and there is plenty besides that either auctioned (signed Hawthorn & Swans jumpers) or raffled (whole bunch of stuff).
