Having lived in QLD for almost 10 years and being a player sponsor with the Lions for 5 years (with a bloke from work) I'm happy to chip in the extra (I usually stick in $100 or $200)

Lions is a lot cheaper - we could sponsor a player whose played 25-99 games for $450 ($225 each) - we get the signed jumpers framed and they hang at my workmate's cafe that is run by his wife in Bulimba - Fages, Lethal and a few players live there.

We sponsored Tommy Berry, Zac Bailey, Brandon Starcevich, Cam Rayner and Jarrod Berry - not bad selections - I get free breakfast every time i go to the cafe - gonna miss it when i move next year!
