Absolutely hated being a vampire in Oblivion. It was horrible. Never doing that again. You have to keep out of the sunlight for god sake! Who wants to just run around at night? I can't even think of anything good about it :p

If you are a werewolf you wont be able to turn into a vampire as well, since you can't get diseases as a werewolf. So you will have to cure yourself of that first.

yeah that was my main motivated to become a werewolf...I got all paranoid after I spent 30 mins fighting vampires without knowing...plus werewolf is really the ultimate out when stuck in a bad place

It's not as bad in this game as it was in Oblivion. If you don't bother to go and feed your powers grow stronger, but so do your weaknesses as well.

I stopped being a Werewolf because I found it boring to be honest. Didn't really add anything to my character other than a 'turn into a beast if you can't kill X guys' card. I'd much rather take my time and kill them and earn skill points than breeze through a section and get nothing. That, and I like to build a character (as lame as that sounds).

I must say sneaking around and 1 shotting people from behind with the bow is awesome.

Did that so much in Oblivion and often with a silencer in Fallout. Kinda miss it.

Might start doing that now. Do you think I should get rid of my heavy armour it's at a good level (50+) not too sure how much it will effect me getting noticed.

you can upskill your sneak when you get a lvl up to reduce Armour noise by 50%. It makes a huge difference...I went from scaring animals to walking super close to them whilst hidden :)

good point...I really got werewolf so I dont get turned into a vampire, and so I can unleash my desire to rage every now and then. But I will still put my focus into building up my player

I think I may have used that perk already. Sound familiar.

I'm currently a pure magic user but I still pull out the now every now and then to make things interesting, I use basic cloth gear and I seem to sneak around alright, I don't think armor matters that much when you're basically 1 shotting everything.

Edit: also does anyone know where I can find the red guard woman in whiterun?

Edit: nvm found her at the bannered mare.

Just found an elder scroll at the tower of mzark for a guy I'm doing a mission for just north of the college of Winterhold.

Up to level 14. Still only the 4 dragon encounters. Only have 3 words atm so doesnt matter all that much.

Starting dark brotherhoods first major contract, it's the best guild, pays well, great prizes.

Annoying sidequest atm finding 20 nirnroot/deathbell/nightshade. Brotherhood had a lot but it's slow going.

Argghh thanks for letting me know about the Nirnroots. I had a heaped saved up thinking there was a quest for them again like in Oblivion, but started to use them in a few potions... Might hold onto the few I have left!!

Apothecary chick in the town the thieves guild is in gives the quest, think her last name is Black-Briar

Just curious, when the quest line is finished does the Night Mother just keep giving you small quests to do? Or does it finish after those? I have done the bulk of it, (or all) and im not sure if im finished.

Bit of a noob to elder scrolls, please tell me I can do all guilds quest lines ?

Yep, you can do it all.
Not sure about joining both the Legion and the Stormcloaks in the one though. You will probably have to pick between those 2.

Glitchy mcglitch again. Just fast travelled to a place I had killed a dragon before. Guess who was back? Except this time when I killed it, I did not abdord the soul. The body just sat there, mocking me. And what's with all the shops being locked in the middle of the day? Fuuuuuuuuu...

I had that happen to me at the college of Winterhold, killed 1 dragon, go back there a little later and I get another dragon in the courtyard, although I did get the souls for both dragons.
