Any one else really liking the odds for We're Gonna Rock in the Manikato and Green Moon in the CP?

For mine - back to the 1200m - WGR would need to take a fair jump up to challenge in the Manikato - he might be borderline G1 quality at 1400m but for mine he is a solid G2 horse at 1200m - I think the top level sprinters will fight it out.

Green Moon the leading older contender in the CP for mine.

You would of thought the field would be at least 10 horses.

7 runners. Rubbish!

There is nothing wrong with a field of 7 high quality gallopers running over 2400m - it is an outstanding race. You don't need a bunch of slow battlers getting in the way with cup spots on the line.

Yes, but it deters from the dynamic of having big fields in these races. Small field is just tailor made for an international to make the trademark sweeping run around the outside for victory.

As opposed to the 18 horse field which stopped this from happening on Saturday. :p

Dunaden would have won by 5 lengths if the field was of 7 on Saturday.

Depends who those 7 were, might not have won at all Mr Sweepingstatement. BTW do you want me to email you best bets for Wednesday or doesn't your wife let you bet during the week?

The way your 56k modem works, I'd assume Best Bets would arrive quicker on the Thursday. Au contraire, isn't it you who doesn't bet during the week? Controlling your inner demons?

I mean the Wednesday form for Geelong, not for the weekend. I only bet during the week when the bush battlers aren't going around. o_O

Isn't it your turn for our betting syndicate this week?

Im sure if Dame Claires owners had forseen the small field they would have nommed for this race, I'll see what he says later.

I saw DC had nominated and would have something on for a place for sure. Super honest horse. Find out what its plans are and get me a signed poster too please.

Considering you follow me on everything I do, i'd say that its ALWAYS my turn.

I didn't listen to you when you said to follow in Lenny on his rate cut bets. Arseclown

Surely you load up on Buffering in the Manikato blew them away last start and will not let them get a sniff at the Valley. Bet of the Carnival.

Calm down son. I don't any jinxing please.

$2.10 is not ideal but the more you put down the more you'll pick up.
Multi with the other Heathcote horse (Excellantes) on Friday night to get a good collect.

Happier now after he drew Gate 1.
