The vlogger i like, his source says Disney are bleeding from Star Wars. The movies may have made the money back they spent to buy the IP from Lucas, but you have to think beyond just that. Things like, the amount of money Disney spends on SW staff, marketing, building Galaxy's Edge theme park, all the costs of manufacturing toys/merchandise, production of comics, books, legal fees, etc.

Look at it like a simple Overheads vs Earnings. Whilst the $4b just to buy the IP has been returned, there are constant massive ongoing costs like those explained above, and the returns are getting smaller and smaller with each different product. Star Wars is actually running at a LOSS for them.

Rumored leak of Snoke's real name and identity.

Evandor Snoke
Was a blond haired politican without any physical damage only recently before TFA era, who emerged enough that he got a big moment where he stood before a senate meeting or conference among high ranking politicians, including Princess Leia, a speaker calls out his name and Evandor Snoke takes the floor and made a big speech about something. Whilst doing that, Hux and Kylo were off secretly leading Stormtroopers behind the scenes to usurp power, take control of something.
That scene being described with the title "Evandor Snoke and the Rise of the First Order".

Remember, there's also a whole Snoke comic releasing months before EP9, which will reveal all this and more.

It would seem that if Evandor Snoke was still a good looking youngish man, with blond hair and blue eyes, no physical damage, and that was in the period between ROTJ and TFA, then it's possible he got all his injuries from Luke Skywalker....after he seduced Ben Solo, took him from Luke, made him destroy his academy and kill other students, and Leia talks about knowing him (in TFA), that it was probably Luke lashing back at Evandor Snoke for what he did.

Not sure then if that still holds up with how Snoke was around for a long long time, a really old being, who saw everything from the rise of Palpatine to the fall of the Emporer....which was what he was originally given as a background in TFA and TFA Novel and Visual Dictionary.

Also he's right about Rey I liked her in TFA but hated her in TLJ they made here way to powerfull with no flaws just to satisfy Kathleens 'force is female' agenda and identy politics.

Preach brother! TFA, I was so interested in who Rey was. What happened to Ben Solo to have him turn to the dark side? Who was snoke? Where did he come from! All of that was completely smashed with TLJ. I left the theater completely disgusted with the lack of respect given to the old cast as well as the new cast. Luke tosses HIS FATHERS LIGHTSABER over his shoulder like it was nothing. There was a legitimate groan OUT LOUD from almost everyone in the theater when that happened.

Snoke, this guy uses the force and smacks Kylo down with a lightning burst like it was nothing. He's immensely powerful in the dark side of the force and he's cut in half with a little twist of Kylo's wrist... There goes that backstory. Jedi are taken at basically birth and train their whole lives to even be able to wield a lightsaber. NOT REY! She swings it around a rock a few times and next thing you know she's fighting with Kylo against THE PRAETORIAN GUARD, that dedicate their existence to defending the Emperor against all threats. Kylo I get being classically trained in the force and saber combat, but Rey.... c'mon!

Lets not forget Rey, lifting mountains of rubble to help the rebellion escape a cave. It took Luke months on Dagoba to balance yoda and put a couple of rocks on top of one another. Well, of course she's a grill. Grills can do it better than men! Don't you guys know!

Then, Yoda's force ghost is so powerful he can create lightning to burn down the force tree because tee hee mmmmm let go of your inner turmoil, you should Luke. Give me a break! Captain Phasma, amazing and interesting character as well as amazing actor. WE DON'T EVEN GET TO SEE HER FACE!!!! NOT ONCE! She's basically thrown down a garbage chute, not going to get to see that backstory.

Next, we come to Rose Tico... ROSE TICO, who's job it was to stop people from escaping a doomed ship via a cattle prod. She basically doomed countless people, that where in a voluntary army, basically because reasons... OMG.

Finn, a storm trooper turned to the rebellion because he knew in his heart that the First Order was wrong, or at least wanted nothing to do with them. Amazing and tantalizing storyline! Wakes up oozing bacta juice all over the place because, duh stupid man. Canto byte or casino land whatever, capitalism bad. They make space horses run around a track for the amusement of others, bad. There's just so much awful with TLJ it's impossible to sum it all up.

TFA had me intrigued and exited. TLJ had me disgusted and fed up. I don't really know what else to say

I liked rey in TFA and even still "like" her now, like I want to like her.. but he power levels are just insane. Constantly getting everything right without failure, doing things others more senior than her can't. I just wish it was within reason. She's still be a good chracter if she didn't know how to fix the Falcon in thirty seconds when Han couldn't. She'd still be a good character if she lost to Luke Skywalker in a scuffle. But alas.

So my favorite vlogger is back with more info from his Disney insider.

Here's just a snippet of stuff....

1. He's getting PMs from other Disney people telling him to zip it, stop leaking info.

1b. He reckons in the near future Disney will get their way with Youtube in censoring all channels that are negative, leaking info, etc.

2. He's protecting his insider source with extreme measures because Disney is like a CIA in terms of ability to locate who the insider is, but he's doing his best to layer details about him as he's very close to retirement and after he retires he's no longer bound.

3. Disney is really bleeding financially from SW, actually going slowly broke due to SW.....tho the movies have made back what they paid for them, the ongoing running costs of employing staff, making movies, legal teams, marketing, production costs, costs of making the theme park, the toys/merchandise, etc etc, are ongoing and hefty, so SW is actually running at a loss right now, and a movie has to make 1b+ or else they're losing even more money. Overheads vs profits thing.

4. Tooting his horn about how his source told him tons of info for Ep9 back in October 2018 or earlier....and only now are other more popular and connected channels and media outlets on the internet starting to find the same info. He's way ahead of the curve in terms of info/content, tho his channel only has like 200 followers, compared to popular ones that have millions.

4b. Tooting his horn about how his source told him Disney is going broke from SW, months ago, and how only now other outlets/channels are starting to find the same info, and even Disney released it's FCC report publicly months after his source. i.e., more confirmation his source is legit.

5. Lucas valued his creation at 4.5b because he knew Disney didn't have the money. Disney only had 2.5b. So they had to take out loans to make up the rest of the 2b. The interest on the 2b is also killing them. Let alone the things pointed out in "3" above.

6. Disney planned need to pump out more movies to try to get SW going, multiple Han Solo movies, KOTOR movies, Fett, Obi-Wan, etc movies, a live action The Clone Wars movie, with a real life Ahsoka, etc. Disney factored that pumping out 10 years of movies like this, would pay back the interest/expenses on just the mere 4.5b, that profit wouldn't start occurring until 10 years of pumping out such movies, games, etc.

7. Disney is losing money on Battlefront, EA are losing money on Battlefront. Disney are soon going to be losing money on Marvel too.

8. Rants about SJWism....how Hollywood will continue to pump it out. But they're being played, because SJWs don't financially support the content produced, they're just people who rally, but they don't actually care about specific movies, not actual fans. How ratings are continuing to slide across the board in all forms of media -- games, sports, movies, tv shows -- because fans themselves are bored and revolting against SJW-laden content. Companies going belly-up buying into the SJW movement, and it's a wonder they're still committed to this path.

9. Disney era novels are suffering an %80 return rate on Amazon, says a source from Amazon. If people didn't like the book, Amazon offered a return policy, get a refund from Amazon. So %80 of them are getting returned.

Regarding Rey's lineage....

His source told him in November 2018 that Rey is rumored to be Palpatine's clone, which would fall in line with the horrible back story from Chuck Wendig's Aftermath series where Palpatine had a secret cloning facility on Jakku. That was Sidious' contigency plan from the Aftermath books.

Daisy Ridley shot a lot of scenes on "Jakku" in a cloning facility.

His source didn't tell him this, but the vlogger reckons that Rey might be the one going to the dark side therefore and Kylo turns to the light side. Double-twist as JJ would like to do. But he also finds it hard to imagine that Kylo turns because he's so committed to the dark side, and trying to kill the light.

He also disclaims that it'll be interesting for him to watch Episode 9 to see how much his source got right regarding the movie, because he does know JJ Abrams is notorious for dumping false leaks out there, and there's always the chance certain things are genuine leaks, while others are deliberate false leaks that his source got wind of inside Disney but they're deliberately false. Because the security measures around Ep9 are insane, far more than any movie has ever had.

it really does seem from the outside like Disney is over extending themselves and behind the scenes may actually be closer to more financial embarrassment then they want us to think. I'd imagine disinterest and boycotts of Star Wars, Disney World, MCU and Disney+ would put Disney in a very bad situation right now. And it's not that I necessarily want failure to happen but if bad products keep getting put out at high prices I don't to see how even a mini monopoly like Disney can get through that unscathed. Disney is definitely in a downward trajectory right now. After Avengers End Game I foresee lower attendance even at marvel movies.

Also, going by Forbes 2018....Disney has GROSSED $4b, so only has made back about 1/4 of the $4b purchase cost. After six years, so still a long way to go before turning any profit.

The whole thing is laughably bad. My favourite is that the leaker is near retirement, after which he won't be bound; obviously ths guy has never heard of non-disclosure agreements.
