Thought it would be a good idea to make a thread about those truly bizarre dreams you sometimes have, well the ones you remember anyway.

Here are a couple I have had in the last couple of days.

First one I was in England with my mother, lost in a mountain somewhere. We walked in the snow for quite some time, until we saw a mountain road. This wizard then appeared. He gave us directions to London, lent us his broomstick and we flew to London. There he then revealed this large mansion, which we slept in. However, there were these magic oranges that created vortexes that sucked us into another area of the mansion which we tried to get out of, but couldn't for a long time. I eventually got out , and for some reason booked a ticket to Norway and woke up.

Second one, which I had the next night. I lived in this house just across from the Bunbury shopping centre with some friends I know. We went out and did our shopping, but I was worried about this woman who I hadn't heard from since the morning. We drove around for a while, going to various restaurants and all, before going to this party with my friends, which very oddly was situated outside the shopping centre around a campfire and an old barrel . We had a few drinks and talked, then I realised that the woman I mentioned earlier was watching us at about 11:00 . We talked a little while longer, before the woman teleported me to some nice forest in an unknown location. My friends were spending some time looking for me. I woke up then...

Hooking up with Allison Stokke.

About to lick the girl of my dreams and then pulling the panties down and seeing huge mutton like lips and then I woke up. Very strange.

Playing for the Red Sox and losing in the last innings.

Playing footy in the AFL and trying not to get hurt. North vs West Coast at Telstra Dome.

I always have dreams where i'm fighting but my arms are in slow motion, or the strikes have no effect but the other person is at full speed. Sometimes i even have a gun, and the bullets go in slowmo or just have no effect. Have these dreams all the time. Strange but probably not all that rare. I'm not a boxer or fighter of any kind so it wouldn't have anything to do with real life fighting.

I also hate dreams where i'm in a city or part of a city i know, but certain things are changed, yet it is still recognizable. Like for example being somewhere in Adelaide but there's a massive freeway running right through where i am that shouldn't be there. Or there are buildings that are different, or even in a house i know, or knew, but it's lay out is different. I hate that shit. I'd rather have proper horror movie nightmares.

This (except the gun thing).

Last night, I had a weird movie-like dream end with a few people in party costume dress-ups laughing and playing with seemingly unloaded guns, only for one of them to shoot themselves in the head, and everything to go immediately silent. I woke up right away and just lay there in total shock for about a minute. The way it happened was like something you'd see in a movie, except way more graphic and violent, and was quite disturbing. One of those things that just makes your blood run cold thinking about it. No idea where it came from (if dreams are a product of your subconscious I mean).

I had the weirdest dream last night.

So I was about 14 in my dream, with my family in a car, driving over a bridge in Melbourne, when my mum says randomly "I want to go to Greece". I look to my left outside the car window, and I see Mykonos,Greece. Then the dream went black for a couple of seconds, and I felt a tingly sensation in my stomach, the type you get when you're going down a slope/going upside down on a rollercoaster. The colour returns and I look around me, and we're no longer in a car, but walking around on a pier in *the Greek area.

An old woman convinced us we could communicate with our "guardian angels" by jumping off the pier into the water and swimming to shore. My family did it first, and I was last. I jumped off the pier and paused in the air for a good 10 seconds to see my guardian angel. She looked like the stereotypical Mary (Jesus' mother) and we smiled at each other before I landed in the water and swam to shore. I started talking to my brother about it before the old lady came up to me and told me I did it all wrong. She told me I was meant to land on some blue bird (forgot what she called it) when I jumped. I was like "okay" and got ready to do it again. Then the weird dream ended there.

LATER ON, I had another weird dream. I was in a parking lot with my friend sitting in her car, when I saw BUDDY FRANKLIN standing a couple of metres away from my window NAKED and covering his private part, signalling for me to go to him and to "meet him in the bathroom to have some fun". WTF. I was like "Okay, go to the bathroom and wait for me, I'll be a sec". He fell for it, and as he left, we drove off at top speed.

Weird indeed. I prob would have accepted Buddy IRL tbh.

Probably started a couple of weeks ago with this particular one, my dreams tend to recur and add to themselves each night but it's probably run its course...

So, in my dream I go to sleep (wow, what an amazing start)

I wake up in a white room, strong mental hospital vibes. The only thing in the room is the bed I was sleeping in. So I get up and walk around the room. Then, a robot (looks like those ones out of I, robot) opens a door (that is so well disguised it looked like part of the wall) and introduces himself and the situation. We're about a million years into the future and I've been brought back to life because "I'm important" and "society has reached its apex and needs a new ideas".

So I get a small "tour" (if you like) of this central command building and the robot goes on about how because they are limited by the speed of electricity, they cannot become any "better". I figure out that the robots purpose is entirely built around "improving society". They will not let me gather any information about why they chose me, however. Anyway, I suggest creating some sort of organic brain, because it might have limitless growth, it could become "better" than the robots in time.

The first "brains" all die, because they become smart enough to basically get themselves high all the time, forgetting to sustain themselves (much like a lab rat). So they make a new brain, which cannot "feel good".

Some time passes and eventually this brain gets very smart, to the extent that they give it control of the robot civilisations central processing unit. It almost immediately then gives these robots a virus, that causes them to overheat and die, as revenge for only allowing the brain to feel bad.

So, in order to remove the restrictions placed on the brain so it can "feel good", it creates all these clone people from my memory bank. The only issue is, these people have no brains, so in order to actually make use of these clones I get hooked up to a device where I can control multiple people and bodies at once.

(cue sexual part of the dream)

This eventually gets broken up when, my clones begin being attacked by robots. I work out that, the brain has gotten paranoid about me and is trying to take me out. So we have a war between me and the brain.

I bluff the brain into thinking I am going to attack one part of the central building, since it has no way of telling what my true intentions are. As a result I get into the central processor and have unlimited access to all of history. The brain realizes this however and I end up surrounded, but in a secure room. I know eventually it will be breached, so I'm going to die here. I look up why the robots chose me, brought me to life. It turns out, I was the first designer of "intelligent" robots and many of their systems were based on my ideas. However, the robots turned on humans when they began to believe that we were holding them back (in essence, I created the destruction of humanity). I decide to take out the central processing unit, even though doing so kills myself because as a security measure all oxygen is taken out of the room (security precaution the robots put in place). It will cause the brains life support system to shut down as well.

So yea, everything dies.

Had a dream where I was playing cricket and Sam Newman was playing (?) and I looked up at the sky and I could see Aurora Borealis in the sky which I thought was cool. Some time went by and I looked up at the sky and it turned out it was actually a comet crashing to the earth and was about to destroy the earth and I started freaking out saying "this can't be happening! Omg this isn't real!" Then everyone started circling me and saying "it's alright, you'll be fine." Then I woke up.

Then about a week later I had a dream where I was walking alone on an empty street, looked up at the sky and saw Aurora Borealis and just dropped to the ground freaking out because I knew it was gonna be a comet and destroy civilization.

I also had a dream where I was at the beach standing at the top of some stairs on dunes and the swell started rising, getting rough and huge waves. Boats were crashing to shore and I started rescuing people. The swell was rising at a rapid rate and tidal started forming. Then I woke up.

Then about a week later I had a dream when I was talking to someone and telling them what had happened in the dream at the beach.

My dreams are bullshit. They are random fragments of inane shit.

mine are too.

had one the other night where i was on a dark, abandoned ship that had been lost at sea for years and it was covered in vines. and on those vines grew catseye marbles that i had to eat to survive.

my dreams make no sense at all.

I was pretty crook over the weekend (and dehydrated as hell) so I spent a fair bit of time in bed trying to sleep. Every single bloody time I shut my eyes (most of the time I was only half asleep) all I got was this bizarre concept of a bunch of random coloured blotches all over the place. Apparently, it was up to me to decide which coloured blotches had control over other coloured blotches. I was also in charge of seprating the groups of blotches and giving them their own space inside what appreared to be a total world of darkness. Every single time I got the red blotches away from the green blotches, the yellow ones would come over and try to steal the red blotches for themselves....and repeat for 4-5 out of every 6 hours of my weekend.

These 'dreams' (I had four seperate periods of sleep in this time) were the most frustrating thing ever. While I was alseep, I remember feeling so angry that I wanted to commit suicide (in dream) because this pattern just would not let up and it was sending me insane.

Finally I woke up at 4am Sunday morning, vomitted everywhere, watched Batman on 111Hits (Liberace made a good villian) for an hour, went back to bed and the mind-numbing blotches were gone.
