Even after 24 hours I still cannot believe what we dished up last night.
Will go to the game on Sunday, but will certainly be a hollow feeling.

The one positive is that the club will now have to do an exhaustive review of the entire club.
Gee the AGM will be very interesting later in the year.

I haven't watched it, but still cannot believe it

What a difference 24 hours makes. Freo made last night's result irrelevant.

Is Ratts still sacked?

For everything he has copped unfairly this year Ratten has had a golden run with things like that this season.
The day we lose to Port, Melbourne beat Essendon and the day after Brisbane inflicted West Coast 2nd loss of the season.
North Melbourne beat us by 9 goals and there is no talk of the loss just focus on the chicken wing.
Now it is irrelevant that we lost last night because Freo won.

Hopefully the board are a little more switched on than the footy media

Have you not watched one piece of media in the last 8 weeks? He's apparently been sacked since June 76848939583672950 times. Ratten has copped more speculation, crap and vitriol than any other coach this year bar none.

Currently sitting at pick 11 (counting concession picks to be taken ahead of us) and likely to drop to pick 10 if as I now suspect, we lose to St Kilda and the Tigers leapfrog us.

Pick 10 and some sort of review and shake up. Yeah I know, but what else is there to look forward to?

The fact for women it's bikini season soon? Collingwood making the grand final to lose to anybody? For men the fact that women are almost in bikini season?

You must have missed the word unfairly.
As for the last 8 weeks it's been all about our season being cruelled by injury.
Neeld, McKenna and Primus might disagree with your assessment.

The lead story on the Channel 7 news tonight (outside of the breaking news of an armed robbery at Myer) was Ratten's future. This came ahead of the report on the death of Neil Armstrong. No golden run here. Just more & more pressure from the media to hopefully claim another coaching scalp. Some of the media are like vultures & they know they have a captive audience for this sort of thing.

Membership and Sponsors will suffer too greatly if he's retained. I appreciate some of you want to keep him on but it would be a horrible business decision. I want him gone and couldn't care less if I'm abused from a few keyboard heroes; the time's come.

Then us Ratts backers are stuffed cause your opinion carries so much weight at the club. Damn!

Not sure why people are so hung up about the season being over now... I stopped caring at the same point the players did. About round 9.
So what are you doing here?

What you are saying is that there are some current & potential members who won't buy memberships if Ratts is retained as coach (as contracted). In other words, they will only support the club on their own terms. Wow!! I think the club can do without those kind of members who will jump on & off depending on who is coaching the club. You're either in it for the long haul or you are not.

Ratts should have a quiet word to Mclean before playing Kreuzer at Full Back, Casboult at CHF and Joseph in the ruck. Then we could get pick 11 for Mclean.

Neil Armstrong died.
"That's one small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind." Yes, that's the famous phrase uttered by the late Neil Armstrong as he first walked on the moon.

What many may not know, was just after that and with the mic turned off, he said "And good luck to you, Mr Gorski"
When Neil was growing up he lived next door to the Gorski's and he could often overhear them arguing - one such argument went along the lines of Mrs Gorski saying "I will give you oral sex when the little boy next door walks on the moon"
So, good luck to you, Mr Gorski.
True story.
