Case in point Melbourne. Pies subsidise them every year by agreeing that Queens Birthday can be their home game. They get the benefit of all the revenue every year.

As for the umpiring we are in line. Right at the back of the line. Stats for the past 5 years show Pies routinely get get the least number of frees, and more importantly the least number of goals from frees. Bit different to Freo and Weagles who have home town umps in their pockets.

It's a real pity that you have departed from the theme of the thread to have a cheap and factually incorrect crack at Pies.

How is it factually incorrect. I stated that Collingwood dictates the fixtures. If that is a result of other sides requesting games against them at the MCG, where you play over 80% of your home games, or Collingwood requesting certain games, the fact is the AFL will always make sure you guys never have to travel too far from the Westpac centre.

I don't know how you came up with the home town ump theory. I believe there are only 4 or 5 West Australians who umpire at AFL level and I seriously doubt all three umpires at a Freo home game would be from WA. We don't count Margetts as a West Aussie anyway. He's a douche.

We actually only play 9 of our 11 games at our home ground. Only Geelong, Hawthorn, Carlton and Essendon play less than that.

We play 5 interstate sides away, 5 interstate sides at home. The rest of our games are neutral.
