In case you missed it, Eddie is no longer the President of Collingwood and therefore everything he says and does is no longer in the context of getting the best for Collingwood.

If you take off the rose coloured glasses, his personal view of what the Sydney Football Club have achieved over the 40 years is very complimentary, as he knows better than anyone how bloody hard it has been to get where we are today.

Fat boy King on First Crack had a cry that it was unfair we got to play Norf twice and this other teams around us didn't. Get *ed King you stupid prick.

Particularly considering our draw was significantly more difficult (on paper) than it should have been. Having finished 7th in 2021 we were really hard done by in copping 3 finalist of 2021 as our double ups together with St.Kilda who were expected to play finals this year.
You're quite right, it was unfair but from memory it was Montagna that raised the issue re Swans and North.
There really are so many fools earning good money on tv and Montagna is certainly one of them.

Taking that further, he has been on SEN breakfast a number of occasions. But, guess how many times he has appeared on Whately this year? You guessed it - None, zero, zip.
Fair to say that there's some bad blood between the two of them.

I know the Lions winning makes it a lot easier for us to get top 2, but I would much rather play Melbourne in the QF. So yeah, I'm conflicted
