There's something very unsettling about hirds face and that weasily grin standing behind a table selling sweets to the public. It has to be the most untrustworthy face in football.

Not sure what you mean...

First they steal our recruiting zone. Then their drug cheating, perma-tanned, priapism suffering favourite son does this:

It's quite clear that throughout their history, they've wanted to be us. Sorry *, but that will never happen. We have something you'll never have and all your millions of Koolaid bucks will never be able to buy - INTEGRITY.

I call shenanigans. That's photo shopped.

Not picture number one, which is a desecration, but picture two... Must be a joke. Well shopped though.

Pity these arseholes weren't so friendly when we were eventually admitted to the VFL.

In recent years, expansion clubs like Greater Western Sydney and the Gold Coast have been afforded some luxuries in order to get a footing in the AFL.

But it pales in comparison to what a young Essendon squad was allowed when joining the VFA.

Only given the status of a “junior club”, rather than a full member, the Bombers were allowed concessions like fielding a team of 25 players instead of the standard 20.

Just saw the Ben Johnson Sportsbet ad. It's classic and should definitely be used to advertise *scumfc.

I heard something quite shocking in the last few days, so shocking I can't remember where I heard it and who said it (could also be due to early onset of dementia, but that's a different story).

It is that quite a lot of people are now feeling "sorry for *essendon and their plight of recent years" and want to see them win games of football

What???

Those people need to take a good hard look at themselves. Alternatively come over here to where the real "sympathy" resides.

(BTW, this thread on page 3. NGE.)

I hope the club suffers for years and years and years....

But Happy Wife - Happy Life...... I seriously need them to win the odd game or two. Life has been s**t for the ones who DIDN'T drink the Kool-Aid.

Michael Long suggesting 2017 side = 1993 baby *.
Keep talking 'em up Michael. Appreciated :thumbsu:

What have * breached the salary cap again?

Sigh. Life was so much better when this thread was front and centre.

Now all we seem to do is go round and round in circles talking about Kelly and Martin and to a lesser extent Pittard and Billings and getting nowhere with any of them.

Surely *essendon could make a move to bring back *jimmy in some capacity and as a result reignite this thread. Much more fun showing sympathy to a "worthy" cause.

The never ending story continues to deliver. Scary times for Lovett Murray.

Check out @ctinks's Tweet:
Who knows if it was the doping, but either way it sounds like his little one is in a bad way. Horrible.

Honestly, it probably didn't contribute but we will probably never know for sure. Regardless though KNOWING that his and the club's actions MAY have contributed to it must be soul destroying. Some of the other players probably have sleepless nights too, wondering if the same may happen to them.

'The injection program had an impact on my daughter': Ex star Nathan Lovett-Murray claims Essendon drug scandal shots he was given 'caused his little girl to have a mystery chest growth and behavioural issues'

  • Former Essendon defender Nathan Lovett-Murray banned from AFL for two years
  • The 34-year-old was part of the 34 Bombers banned for doping back in 2012
  • He claims the drugs injected into his body could have affected his daughter

A former Essendon defender, who was one of the 34 Bombers banned for two years for doping, worries his daughter is suffering health problems due to the drugs injected into his body at the time.

Nathan Lovett-Murray, 34, fears his three-year-old daughter Harmony is suffering from a mystery chest growth and behavioural problems as she was conceived a year after the supplements program stopped.

Lovett-Murray was adamant the saga impacted his daughter's health.

'There's no doubt in my mind that the injection program we were put through has had some impact on my daughter,' the former Bomber told The Herald Sun.

The former AFL defender said his daughter had seen doctors over her chest and behaviour issues, but the bills were becoming expensive.

'There have been health concerns (with Harmony) and we have seen some specialists,' Mr Lovett-Murray said.

'There are some behavioural things that we are concerned about, and there was a hole in her chest that was leaking mucus, and we still don't know what it is. They've got to do more tests, but those tests cost more money.'

The club claim Nathan did raise concerns over his daughter's health and offered its ongoing support.

After 145 games in the AFL, Lovett-Murray was banned for two years following the use of peptide Thymosin-beta 4.

He claims he worked endlessly to build his name in the Aboriginal community, which has been tarnished through this ordeal.

Mr Lovett-Murray is set to take the club to court after his negotiations with the club for compensation failed over the doping saga.

He is preparing a $1 million Supreme Court damages claim alleging he suffered severe stress, anxiety and depression over the saga, according to the publication.
