I would have liked to see Barlow get another chance to redeem himself but it's the only move that makes sense really. Our team is starting to look very settled again, much like, dare I say it.... 2005.

It would not surprise me to see Everitt drop out, particularly if it is going to be wet.

Bird would be the likely one to come in (no other tall players on emergency list, and a small for the wet rather than Brennan).

What is most interesting though, is Barlow was not even dropped to emergency. I think the selectors were a little disappointed with him last week (and rightly so).

Thought Everitt was injured, making it an easy swap with Hall. No suprise Barlow got dropped after last week, but would have been nice to see him get another chance. I'm sure he will eventually, but it wouldn't do much for his confidence to be given the boot straight away. Still - someone had to make way.

First time in weeks that they've really rejigged the named lineup. Jack, Moore and LRT have all bben named in the starting XVIII IIRC.

Would be interesting, although in recent weeks Goddard has played that defensive forward role, albeit not for long.

Word on the Saints' pre-match thread is that Harvey may not play, and is only a tentative inclusion. Interesting to see if he does play or not.

Barlow was very dissappointing last week. In the first quarter he kicked 30m down the line straight to a WC player and another time he just didn't seem to want to bend down for the ball. I know everyone has bad days but his really was awful.

IIRC thats how they are always listed?

Not that the positions really mean that much these days anyway. No one really plays like a traditional FF anymore.

What would be interesting is if Dempster at one stage was left one out with hall, Scneider got tagged by Bucannan who I have always considered the same skills.

And heh Bucannan and Hall wins those contests. And if Dempster does go to Malcheski or the irish man, he will be murdered.

No I am not over exaggerating, does anyone actually think Dempster has the pace?
