Why do we always take so long to post the team? Also lets all hope the changes that need to be made finally are but I have no doubt some players will yet again get a repreive.

Hinkley - good to give the kid a go again
Thornton - why do we persist with him when clearly he isn't even up to WAFL level let alone AFL....... Maybe if he shows some form in the WAFL fine give him a call up... but he hasn't done anything!
Murphy - I don't mind this inclusion as it will help our structure up foward me thinks! hopefully he can kick 2-4 goals and show some consistency :)

So the net effect is no change???

Lose Head and Gilmore only to be replaced by Thornton and Murphy. We're really showing our depth there

Seeing these changes is how I'd imagine an 80 year old man would feel being propositioned by Scarlett Johanson only to discover he's out of viagra.

Well it started off in promising fashion, but the end result is the same, ****ing ridiculous.

I wouldnt be suprised if there is a late change and Clarke plays.

Both Gilmore and bradley out - whos gona support Sandilands

Tha main thing is that head is gooooorrrrrrrnnn - there is no chance in hell he will show enough form to get back in.

This may be the last time Thorton and Murphy are included last dicthed effort - if they dont perform its the end for them - so in other words goodbye and good luck

^ who else should they select?
It's not like we have a heap of fit players killing it in the WAFL.

For one I would have Campbell way ahead of Murphy regardless of WAFL form. Murphy has shown for the past few years that he has little to no heart, at least Campbell will give a contest and create some forward pressure.

No backup ruckman in the 22. You would think that Clarke will come in at the expense of Murphy or Thornton. Come to think of it Clarke could replace both of them.

Clarke has to play, and should come in at the expense of either Thornton or Murphy. It would make no sense to play Murphy or Johnson as the second ruckman, when they are just as skinny as Clarke.

Here is what Malaxos thought of Thornton and Murphy's games on the weekend.

Ryan Murphy: He led and marked well at times, but we would like to have seen more over the course of the game. He finished with three goals for South Fremantle.

Scott Thornton: Played half back for Souths and Trinity Handley played on him as a leading forward, but also as a defensive forward. Scott had a pretty quiet game.

So basically, neither did anything to earn a recall. The simple fact is that for Murphy to have an impact, he needs precision kicks to find him on the lead, and we are not skilled enough to do that. Surely Campbell with his size and strength would have been the better option, as he can play one on one and crash packs.

I'd rather play 2 men down then bring in Murphy and Thornton

Hell I'd even get Peter Mann and Phil Gilbert out of retirement

(maybe not Phil - Id be tempted to send my fist through his skull)
