Eagleton out will make a lot of people happy I reckon. Hope his leg isn't serious though (if there's anything at all wrong).

Did the medical staff only just realise Eagleton only has one leg?

Ba-boom

Well I don't think anyone picked that in the Ins and Outs thread (and we had a few wacky ones).
I guess it jackpots to Round 8.

Looking forward to seeing Stack on the big stage! does anyone know how old he is? :p I'm a bit clueless ;)

I would've preferred Hill over Grant but oh well...
Grants tackling pressure is very good, he has good speed and sticky hands but he simply can't kick. I can only think of one effective possession all night last week. Every other one was either backwards or mis-directed. Until he adds some 'hurt factor' to his possessions the opposition will just keep playing off him. Hill is an excellent ball user but I guess rocket is willing to wait for an increase in intensity.

Lucky for Eagleton he is out with a leg, saved him from the tap on the shoulder.

I agree you HKB, Grant has some great upside and if he can improve his kicking for goal he will become very important for us, that's why is good to give him time on the ground to get him used to the atmosphere and pressure of AFL, he will not get that at VFL.

He will only get better.

Watch the game again please, his general field disposal was of a very good standard, off my head he hit Barry on the lead (as he did very well the week before) and kicked a nice one perfectly placed to Eagleton running backwards between a couple of Saints.

Very happy with these changes - Eade seems to be making a bit of a statement by bringing in the youngsters at every opportunity. I think Eade has twigged that it will be difficult to win the flag with injury prone, slowing down oldies. Hopefully some of the youngsters take their chance and make themselves undroppable, the way Picken did last year. There's always room if your good enough...

PLeased to see Stack in the seniors. This bloke has a bit of magic about him and I hope it comes out tomorrow night.

We have ben waiting to see some of the next group coming through for a while and tomorrow night we have a team which includes Roughead, Grant, and Stack.

Add a few that have played a few extra games such as Willliams, Harbrow and Addison.

The doggies are starting to move with class eh?

And on the sidelines we have Moles, Minson, Ward, Reid and Wood.

Still to come are Jones and Cordy.

I am feeling better now.

I'm critical of Stack. He has no influence in the VFL so i don't see why he deserves to be getting a game. I hope he proves me wrong. But we don't need a team of players who *might* play well. But i guess he deserves a chance.

In another thread i saw that someone wanted Jones brought into the team. He is way too raw, and we can't play him and Grant in the same team yet.

I love Everitt. Just thought everyone should know.

You obviously did not see last weeks game.

If you had witnessed this game you would have noticed that Stack had a very good 2nd half in which he had quite a few touches and was more involved in the game than I had seen from him in the past.
