Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Watched today’s game through my phone, and I didn’t find it as jarring.I wonder how much the use of mobile devices and watching the coverage from each broadcasters respective apps influenced the sizing decision. It’s jarring on TV for sure, and I’d prefer it be smaller but it’s not the end of the world and I’m sure I’ll get used to it.
You're missing that hideous thing Fox Footy had back in 2008. Blue and Orange, you could barely see the score itself.

Watching on TV, you want to see as much as you can of the wider view. The score bar just blocks out players at the bottom of the screen that you want to see.
Make it smaller and in a top corner where it probably won't block anything you want to see.
But I suspect it's as large as it is for the tiny minority of people watching on phones
Just fix it
You can see it from space.Glad I bought an 85" inch tv so I can have 400cm2 of scoreboard at the bottom.
It's ****ing horrible
Why?I quite enjoyed the massive score
Easier to just put a click/colour button in the corner and let the viewer decide if they want it depending on what they are viewing it on.The Fox one is pointlessly obnoxious. Yes, its Saturday, I knew that already. If that was used for the time or something, its just over-sized but possibly useful on phone or tablet. But the block that says it friday night, or super saturday, wasted real estate.
Now, there a thought for the apps. Fox could run two feeds. If on cable, show the TV version.
Otherwise, detect the device and send the graphics corresponding to either TV (for TV, laptop, desktop) or handheld (phone, tablet). The those viewing on a larger screen don't get such oversized graphic. A bit of faffing about with software, but should be technically doable.
Yep, if at all.And we don't need to know who the commentators are every 5 minutes lol
I like the numbers being on top of one another.
