1-SA
2- WA
3 -Tasmania
4- Sydney

Queensland can barely handle two teams so a 3rd isn't a viable option

WA a third and fourth side to keep the balance
Sydney to have a third and fourth side
Then down the track canberra and tassie

I can see 2 victorian sides relocating to make this happen
3rd WA team
Shanghai
NZ
Tasmania
Do you guys think SA could sustain a third team? Like Sturt or Norwood heading up? Port and Crows do pretty well for themselves

Norwood but that's it. We'd need a giant population boom to warrant a 3rd side here anyway.

Tassie
Canberra
New Zealand
Wollongong

Newcastle would never work, FNQ needs a bigger population and Wollongong is soccer territory. Darwin is also too small.

God imagine the complaints from the Shanghai fans when they have to travel to Australia every two weeks to play.

Actually no, I’m imagining the Collingwood fans when they have to travel to Shanghai once every five years. Eddie will have kittens.
