The Bye next year

Having had the opportunity to see Collingwood up close late in the season, it occured to me that they would provide the opportunity to change the draw and include a bye.

This would give all teams the opportunity to rest players and reduce the impact of injuries on the season.

Meanwhile Collingwood could play in the VFL until they can get a competitive team together.

Well they're so bad they are the equivalent of a bye this year, so why not just make it official.

Never seen a group of Sydney players take a game with such a lack of seriousness.

They're only game plan is a version of 'rope a dope' with their complete ineptitude.
