How long do you think it will be before Channel 9 finally dumped the Footy Show after more than 20 years on air? And which program will fill the gap left by The Footy Show's absence?

Surely that's only for the nights 7 are doing Thursday night football

I would hope so. It were broadcast TFB at the new time of 8:45pm Wednesdays.
One more bye week (Thursday night game) to go, guess we'll see thereafter.
Can't imagine 7 giving 9 a lifeline.

There's a 'humourmercial' on now for Fyfe Transport; last week we had the thing for Crown Casino (showing the helicopter) and Homestead Brewery with Fevola and McGovern; and the week before we had the ad for the cryo thing that that Heppell's involved with. Boo

Would love to be a fly-on-the-wall on the day Channel 9 decide to axe the Footy Show. It will be one of the biggest decisions made in the network's history, and unfortunately for Eddie McGuire, Sam Newman and the rest of the team, it looks like the writing is on the wall.
