He was literally putting words in his mouth trying to get Gaff to say it was an accident. These are the same people who wanted to string Nyhuis up for a tackle. What's wrong with them?
At least, to Gaff's credit he didn't take the bait and jump on the accident thing. He owned it at least. He's gone for the year and hopefully from the Eagles.

I am APPALLED at the media focus on 'sorry/shaken/remorseful' Gaff and his oh-so-sympathetic coach. Bloody disgraceful. Where is the spotlight on BRAYSHAW???

Ask yourselves this, Gaff & Simpson. If it was your mate, son or brother who tonight through your unprovoked assault now has 1 - a broken jaw; 2 - lost teeth & going to need implants/dentures at just 18; 3 - looked not only in pain but frightened, bewildered and tearful after his attack; and thus 4 - runs a real risk (though hopefully not) of having a post-traumatic stress reaction that could threaten his whole footy career; 5 - and meantime has had his season and maybe part pre-season killed off; 6 - has also had a good chance of a Rising Star nomination (good for morale and self-belief) also killed off - who deserves the sympathy and the cheers?

Eagles player and coach, you disgust me. And WA media not far behind.
