Nathan Tinkler brought the Jets he also owns the Knights that's why he changed the colours to blue and red.
That's not the point. The question is: what was the process?

Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?

What we remember is that the BBears became the BLions who went onto a 3peat.There's a big dose of reality in there. Anyone not expecting major changes is kidding themselves.
In a few years Heart will be about as fondly remembered as the Brisbane Bears - assuming anyone actually remembers them.
Hello City. Goodbye Heart.
Disappointing to give such a soft goal away so late in the game and would have been fantastic to finally end the away streak, but most would have been happy with a point heading in. Heart has picked up four points after trailing in the past fortnight, after only managing one point from games we'd trailed since the start of 2012/13. Good for Kewell and Kisnorbo to pick up goals as well.
Still a lot of momentum for next week against a Sydney FC team that looks ripe for the taking. It will be interesting to see what sort of crowd we get.

yeah he has been really good sense Van't Schip took over.
Not sure if you dig around you may find something but I don't think approve was needed from the other clubs The club may have consulted with it's members that's about it not that the members would have had any say in the matter. That's not the point. The question is: what was the process?
Kewell BOG again.
Apparently City might be coming down for a friendly during the summer, would be amazing if it were true.

M Heart to MCity FC to success.
Sounds about right to me.
I'm going early on this, but I think "City" could be bigger (supporters) than Victory in a few years.
I think there will be drain from the Victory and a bunch of Man City supporters jumping on, and they'll probably get most of the newbies that join in the future. The Man City consortium will stop at nothing to make it so. Not that it's a bad thing at all for the league.
Yep. It'll be to CityIf we are number 2 anywhere, it's certainly not to Heart![]()
Yep. It'll be to City
An ideal marquee would probably be Messi or Ronaldo. You never mentioned 'realistic'

Melbourne will be entirely blue next season...Heart will be dead not sure why you cant grasp this..
Melbourne is Red and White.
I'm not sure why you can't grasp the concept that they will not? Melbourne City is a continuation of Melbourne Heart, just like Manchester United is of Newton Heath.Melbourne will be entirely blue next season...Heart will be dead not sure why you cant grasp this.

The owners say they want to listen to the fans. In no uncertain terms we will make it known that we want the Red and White. We are not in mini Man City, this has been quoted by the City CEO himself.
Victory fans are scared, SMFC fans are pissed off. In a few years we'll be producing the best young Australian players while also having the best marquee's to ever grace the league. We'll be the best team in Asia and nobody can stop us.
You can keep talking about membership figures and crowds etc. but as long as Muscat is your coach you will achieve nothing. Success on the field will only breed more success off the field. Soon enough we'll be filling out AAMI and then you'll have nothing over us.

There would be about five Man City supporters among the Victory membership, maybe an exaggeration, but they do not make up a large group in Melbourne. Even Melbourne Chelsea with 300 Facebook members in is just a small drop in the ocean among the Victory support, and indeed many of them are Heart fans. I get the Newton Heath into ManU example later, but IMO Heart died last week, and I think it's a shame it has to change its name and colours. To me it will be a different club because of those two things. Change the name only, and you can see by the AFL Bulldogs example, most fans believe it is still the same club.Correct, Man City supporters and anti Muscat fans who now have a more real alternative
