Spurs have a massive supporter base worldwide though. im not sure where we would rate compared to others but we would be right up there imo.

Not sure it's massive - in Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal terms - but it is a big supporter base. Maybe 4th in England I would hazard a guess.

I know we have loads of supporter bases all across the world. As would a few other teams ofcourse.

But i was talking more about actual supporters. not the people that go out and buy a 'big 4' shirt and say that support them.

Spurs and Arsenal are about equal in numbers in London. we probably have the edge given we're the more successful club and have greater notoriety, but they're not that far behind us. if they played in a 60,000 seater stadium as well they'd easily sell it out.

Not sure which games you've been watching but we hardly manage to sell any tickets at emirates ;)

oh yeah I forgot we still play here to accommodate our small fanbase:

wish we still did tbh.

Arsenal are in a comparable position if not worse than Man U. Your captain will head to Spain soon enough, you're struggling for crowds (was Emirates even half-full against Birmingham), your coach refuses to pay for players and then people wonder why you struggle for consistency and your record against the rest of the current big 4 is pretty poor as of late.

Arsenal is living almost solely on beating up minnows in the Champions League group stages.
Emirates had 60,070 (premier league website). The capacity 60,355.

We got rid of nearly 300 million dollars of debt in the 08/09 financial year (400 down to 120). We will have no debt at the end of the 10/11 financial year.

**** off mate. Btw, Arsenal's supporter base is shitloads bigger than spuds.

Fine I was off the mark there. But that still doesn't explain why next season Arsenal will be in the big 4 next and Man United won't. There is this grand expectation of Arsenal supporters that their "beautiful" football will suddenly click and every player on the pitch will become a superstar just because their under 25 years of age.

Man United had been told they weren't good enough yet they turned around and won three on the trot (an offside decision and Rooneys ankle stopped 4 in a row), all the while, Arsenal played their "beauty" football and Chelsea and Man City wagged their chequebooks around.

Never count out Man United. Never.

Can see Man United or Tottenham being replaced with Man City in the top 4 this season. Villa, Everton and West Brom ;) there abouts.

Never said a thing about United. I was purely stating the you couldn't have been more wrong about Arsenal. If you ask me, they wil be around for years. With nearly 350 million supporters world wide, there isn't much chance they will go under.

Don't have a scoreboard pic, but he's clearly talking about Wigan beating Arsenal 3-2.

Coincidentally, we also went 2-0 down. We left our comeback later, too.
Ahh yes, 3 goals in the last 10, with N'Zogbia scoring that cracking goal off the post in stoppage time.

Now that you remind me, Arsenal winning that game was the last leg of a multibet of mine!
Another one to add to the RoJo bet thread.

At 2-0 when Silvestre scored i was like HA, this ones safe, look even Easter Island Head is scoring goals for fun. FUUUUUUUUU!
