Locating the satellite would be helpful. I know Russia and China have shot down their own so must be possible

The only reason militaries use new tech is to sell it, people over complicate it a lot, defence installations like lunching positions can be moved in a matter of hours.
Demonstrating the Iron Dome is a successful concept would go a long way to dispelling doubt for potential buyers after Russian/Iran success in Ukraine.
