Haha. Dodgy Collingwood bloke with an injury sneaking off to play basketball with his mates.

Another ex-North player in the coaches box.

Wonder if that is some kind of record?
Clarko recruited to North in 1986.
Horse recruited a year later.
Clarko traded to Melbourne in 1994. We recruit Simmo.
Horse retires in 1999.
Teague is recruited a year later.
Teague is traded to Carlton in 2003.
Clarko is made head coach of Hawthorn a year later.
Simpson retires in 2009. Is recruited by Clarko to be an assistant coach.
Horse becomes head coach of Sydney a year later.
Clarko and Horse play off in 2012 grand final.
Simpson becomes head coach of West Coast a year later.
Clarko and Horse play off in 2nd grand final in as many years.
Simmo coaches his first grand final a year later.
All 3 recommit to their clubs in 2019. Teague becomes head coach of Carlton for 2020.

Lmao at Phil Inn

IMO I couldn't care less. There's a huge difference between shooting hoops in the local div 3 and taking to an AFL field. Completely feasible that an injury could rule you out for the latter and not the former.
Isn’t it more that the people paying you are waiting for you to be fit and you’re not resting/recovering but instead taking a risk of injuring yourself again?

We don't know what kinds of activities his physio has cleared him for.

I understand the AFL environment is a little different but that logic is terrifying if applied to normal workplaces. They all pay us in the hope that we are fit and healthy enough to work.
